I've been using Anandi Green's Premium HDPE 260 GSM grow bags for several months on my terrace, and they've been much better than the cheap grow bags I've used before. The 260 GSM material feels thick and sturdy, so even after repeated watering, rain, and moving the bags around, they still hold their shape well. The UV protection is important because they stay under direct sun for hours, and I haven't noticed the fabric becoming brittle or fading much. The product is marketed as UV-protected, which matches my experience outdoors. What I liked most is that the bags are lightweight compared to cement or terracotta pots. When I need to rearrange my garden or repot plants, it's much easier to lift them, even when filled with soil. Drainage has been good. Water doesn't remain trapped, so I haven't had issues with waterlogging, even during heavy rains. The bags also dry at a reasonable rate, which is helpful during the monsoon. Another practical benefit is that they don't crack if accidentally dropped, unlike plastic or clay pots. When not in use, they can simply be folded and stored, saving a lot of space. I was ordering for the 24 x 24 size, but it is more like 18x16. I was going to put a tree in it. This will not work. I'm sure I will use it for something else eventually. Oh, no handles either. Completely false advertising.
