Works great for my dog. Use their probiotic capsules one a day with his food and the paste same day and the following two days after he takes his Heartgard and Nexgard since he has a super sensitive stomach etc. His stools are no longer bad taking the paste with his meds. I also gave him the paste when he took his yearly shots just to make sure. He's on a super strict excellent diet also. We think the paste and the pills which I also buy separately are great for our dog.

I had called the vet to see if I could get a prescription for diarrhea for my muttlies. But, they wanted me to bring them in and bring fecal samples. All I heard was $$$, for simple diarrhea brought on by travel anxiety. This stuff worked great! In less than a day, both boys' stool was firming up. I highly recommend this probiotic. My puppy ate something bad and had diarrhea. I gave him this probiotic, and after only two doses, he was back to normal. It worked very fast. This product was also recommended by my vet. If I go to the vet, it will cost more money, so I like to use this as my first step when my dog has diarrhea symptoms. It is easy to use and very helpful. The only problem is the smell. It smells strong, so it is hard to give it to my dog. He doesn’t like it, and it can be difficult to get it into his mouth.

I think it works. I break a capsule into my dog’s dish before filling it with his wet dog food and he laps it all up. As long as the powder in each capsule has live culture gut bacteria, it should be a fine supplement for your dogs, HOWEVER, I won’t be buying this again. For 1/4 the price of this, I’ll be going back to placing a big dollop of live culture cottage cheese (like Daisy) or Greek yogurt on my dog’s food, which is not only a natural source but also provides calcium and protein to his diet.
