Bakhoor Perfume Oil - 6ml by Al Rehab

This was a blind buy for me, I had not smelled this perfume before but I fancied trying something completely different. I love the smells of some of the perfumes the middle eastern women in my area wear and wanted to find something similar and not the same as everything else available in Boots or similar.Well, this certainly hits the spot!In the bottle the liquid is a deep amber colour. The bottle is small, with a rollerball applicator rather than a spray or dab. This works well because this is a strong scent - I thought it may be a little insipid as I am used to alcohol based carriers, but no worries here, this stuff is strong! And a 6ml bottle should last well as you only need a little, plus the small size makes it easy to pop in your bag if you are going out, although it lasts well so you probably won't need to reapply.I applied a small amount to my pulse points. This opens with a sort of rich, incense like woody smell, I don't really know how to describe it, it smells of incense, scented woods, a little smoky maybe and very exotic (to my nose). Over the next couple of hours this evolves, becoming slightly lighter, greener and sweeter, it does remind me very much of incense and the perfumes I smelled on the ladies nearby. After about 4 hours you are left with a sort of woody, soft, cool scent that lingers gently, you will catch wafts of this every now and again as you move around.I would say the small dabs to my pulse points was enough - any more would be overpowering, this is strong stuff. I could still faintly smell this on my skin the next morning, so longevity is great. It projects moderately but not overly so - you won't knock anyone out but will leave a gentle waft of deep, luscious scent as you pass. This isn't a spicy scent like opium, it is much more woody although the smokiness and incense tends to dissipate after the first couple of hours. There is a slight sweetness to it but more like honey or sap than candy sweet. I think men or women could wear this. And the price is great.Overall I am very happy with this and tempted to try some others from the range. The only downside really is how it came packaged - the box was turned inside out and cut, and the bottle sellotaped to the box, so if you were buying as a gift it would look rather tatty by the time you attempted to unstick it and put the box back together!

Long lasting , nice fragrance

Quite Floral, It is Bakhor after all but it's not that earthy green floral that some fragrances can have. Its sweet and light but lingers. I would say this is more on the "feminine" side but by no means exclusive. This could definitely be worn by all. Overall a pleasant and mild fragrance with good lasting power.*Top Tip*Once you begin to know what works for you and how Oud oils work you can definitely use it as a base note or floral tone with other Oud oils. I'm male and like to layer this under (not over) another oil called Aseen (from the same seller). Once the two warm and wind down together the scent is amazing. Try it!!

This is a very strong and heavy scent, hence only little needed. Because it is so strong it needs a while on skin to settle, after that it smells absolutely gorgeous. Difficult to describe, mix of oriental and floral and something else, not quite sure what. Lasts very long time, I could smell it for a week on my coat. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love the smell of it, it's very hard to describe, sort of sweet and woody at the same time, I get compliments wearing this attar all the time, even from people who use attar a lot like me I find them asking me what I'm wearing.I have to admit it doesn't last as long as more expensive attars, but it lasts much longer than after shaves and perfumes etc which is excellent considering the price, when I first bought it it was much more expensive, the second time I bought it was much cheaper, and now it's 1.68!!? That's about an eighth of what I originally paid for it and back then I thought it was great value for money, now it seems they're just giving this stuff away! Even my friends love it I'll definitely be buying this again.

Very strong scent although I wish it was more of a musky smell. However it does stay on your skin and it lasts the whole day and once you wear it others will smell it on you - and you will smell it on you, too! It's good though, for the price, a good buy.

Well priced, medium strength, easily portable, the bottle looks nice and isn't oily once its rubbed in. Very happy

The only reason there are five stars for the longevity is because the smell was so bad every second smelling it felt like a day.I've ordered Al Rehab perfumes and they are my daily go-to. So far, I have loved every perfume and used every drop, trying a new one each time. But this. This is probably what God welcomes sinners with when they enter hell. It's so annoying that I can't bear the thought of keeping it on my dresser and having to look at it every day.I'll try to describe the smell. Imagine letting a child mix a number of soaps and detergents of all uses in a tub. then you put your clothes in the tub but never rinse them.choco musk, sabaya, soft, nebras are good. Have ordered them a few times.
