Works well, no issue installing
Not sure why people are so easy to start complaining when a product gives you a slight challenge to install. It definitely take a bit of intuition and dexterity with your hands to properly install this and it’s really not that difficult. This is primarily caused by Tesla’s design of the screen itself, there is very little space to work with. Install the mount with the protruding tabs facing towards you. I started locking the passenger side first, then the driver side. If the mounts keep popping off, that means you don’t have the whole organizer aligned properly. I used masking tape to help keep the organizer in place. Once installed, it’s rather snug and found no loose fitment (rattling). I never use the wireless pad anyways since they are atrociously slow to charge a phone. The organizer blocking the charging pad was no issue for me since I have a fast charger already.

Super product once you install it. Installation was a real task
I read previous reviews about install. I’m one person, so I couldn’t ask anyone to give me a hand.Anyway it took about 10 mins-5 hours to install myself. I had to go away and come back as it was very frustrating to install. Don't give up. It takes patience but you will be very happy once its installed.I first ‘pre’ attached to see the fit, I found clipping on side in (passenger side clip) was ideal and then carefully lifting it up, and sliding in. So I only had 1 side to attach and it was the steering wheel side. Was so annoying as the wheel was in the way, but what I found works was putting my hand inside and pushing up with my fingers, then using a thick flat head to press on the top and click, it went in.Don’t give up! It’s satisfying once you done it.I’ve got my keys, wallet, and glasses and honestly, it doesn’t move or any rattle! Very pleased with my purchase!Thank you :)

Not worth it!
I recently purchased the BASENOR center console tray for my Tesla Model Y, enticed by its promising features as advertised on Amazon. However, my experience with this product has left me deeply disappointed, as many of the features mentioned on the product page turned out to be misleading. One of the advertised features was the "Tailored Elegance (2023 Upgrade)," claiming to enhance the Tesla experience with a storage box expertly designed for the Model Y and Model 3. Unfortunately, this claim fell short of reality. The center screen organizer did not provide the expected elegance or seamlessly integrate into the vehicle's interior as advertised. Instead, it appeared bulky and out of place.Another misleading claim was the "Expanded Storage Potential" that was supposed to offer more and larger compartments for various items such as phones, cards, sunglasses, and more. However, the actual storage capacity of the center console tray was disappointingly limited, failing to meet the advertised expectations. The compartments provided were not spacious enough to accommodate even basic essentials, making it impractical for organizing and storing belongings. The product boasted a "Precision Fit," claiming to be crafted using a one-to-one mold for a flawless match to the space below the center console screen. Unfortunately, this claim proved to be untrue. The tray did not fit perfectly into the designated area, resulting in an awkward and ill-fitting appearance. Furthermore, it did not eliminate the risk of rattling or protect my interior accessories from potential damage, contradicting the advertised precision fit.The product's description also emphasized the "Effortless Installation" process, boasting a snap-on design that ensured easy installation and a secure fit, without the need for messy adhesives. However, the reality was far from effortless. The installation process was complicated, requiring significant effort and adjustments to make it fit properly. This contradicted the initial promise of hassle-free installation, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied.Lastly, the product claimed to be made from "Premium, Eco-Friendly Materials," with a durable ABS plastic construction and a soft silicone non-slip mat to safeguard belongings. While the ABS plastic construction seemed sturdy enough, the promised premium quality was not evident in the overall design or feel of the product. Additionally, the non-slip mat did not effectively prevent rolling or scratches, failing to provide the luxurious experience as advertised. In conclusion, my experience with the BASENOR center console tray for the Tesla Model Y was highly disappointing. The misleading features advertised on the product page, including tailored elegance, expanded storage potential, precision fit, effortless installation, and premium materials, did not align with the actual product received. I would caution potential buyers to reconsider their purchase decision and explore alternative options that better deliver on their promises of functionality and quality.

Looks OEM, hard to install, but great to have
Ok, I didn't believe the other reviews that I've read where they said this was "hard to install". I mean, c'mon, they provided a video showing how to do it. But..... it IS hard to install. It doesn't "pop" in very easily. You would have to have super finger strength to install it. You would need to push down from the top with your fingers from one hand AND push up from the bottom with fingers from your other hand. Note that one side installed from me easily enough. The other side becomes harder since it's a nice, tight/snug fit. I even tried to use adjustable angled pliers to squeeze the parts together. Overall, I wrestled with this quite a bit.Having said above, I'm actually happy with this gadget. Even my wife said that the storage was very convenient AND looked OEM when she saw it the first time. Would I buy it again? Yes, considering it's cheaper than the alternative options which install via "magnets" (ugly) or the one that squeezes to the back of the screen (I do NOT want anything squeezing or putting pressure behind the screen for obvious reasons). The ones I saw with the magnets looked pretty ugly with "teeth" or that they really looked like cheap plastic. If those looked OEM like the one that I bought but with magnetic installation, then I'd get them for a reasonable price.
