The perfect portfolio that will hold art or photos to use for a legacy
This art portfolio is a reasonable price considering it is truly top of the line and cream of the crop. This is the fifth portfolio I have purchased to hold computer paintings in color and also black and white and collages that are fragile and delicate and also paintings. The black paper on which you paste the art work or photos photographs is archival and will last many years and it folds neatly and smoothly as well and since there are portfolios by ITOYA in many different sizes it is easy to select the one for the right purpose. To top if off it that was not great enough in quality and price, this portfolio can be placed vertically or horizontally into a bookshelf as a legacy or keepsake for one's children.

Can't go wrong for the quality and price for this Art Profolio book!
I purchased this Art Profolio 8.5x11 book on 2/16/2021 and upon receiving it I did not experience any of the defects or damaged condition book as some of the other reviewers here mentioned. I will say that there was a small sticker on the back like others have mentioned that was stuck on the outside back upper top left side near the binder. In my case, I used a blow dryer to remove it slowly without any problems. Be careful when doing so as the outside binder has a clear plastic sleeve 3.6x11.2 where you can insert your own printed label that is sensitive to high heat. In this case, any residue from the removal of the label was easily removed with Goo-Be-Gone. This Profolio is Acid Free and Archival Safe as noted in the description and photos are top loaded. There is a total of 24 non-glare pages separated by a black insert paper where you can conceivably have 48 photos if loaded 2 per page when using the front and back per page. The inside front cover has an insert as noted in the included picture. So here are some observations I found when using my Profolio book. The non-glare pages are clear and fairly transparent without masking any colors for the most part. Just note, it is flimsy, so you have to be careful when loading your photos so you don't rip the sleeve pages. This also means, if you drop something small and heavy on the pages or scrape something across it - it will leave a mark. So if you are a Type A like me - be careful, it will bother you and you can't really replace the pages at this point! The outside cover is a hard plastic that is somewhat bendable and will flex a little as you start to load your book - see pictures. This isn't a bad thing, but should be noted if you were expecting a hard plastic shell like a 3 ring binder. The inside pages will accept photos up to 8.5 x 11 and anything smaller will move around slightly unless you secure them or depending on size and if you start to load the Profolio with more photos they tend to stay in place more when storing the Profolio book vertically. This isn't too much of a problem with 8x10 or 8.5x11 photos. Since this is a book with page inserts, there are 12 pages on the left side and 12 pages on the right side where it meets in the middle. This is important as I will explain how I use this Profolio book later on. I have not fully loaded all of the pages in my Profolio book probably because of how I am using this book, but your mileage and experience will vary based on your own usage. This is what I have noticed though, if you load this book with 8.5x11 photos, I noticed the edges near the bind will start to curve. That means, your photos at that part of the book will do also bend slightly as the Profolio book becomes thicker. In fact, anything near the bind will do the same. I'm not sure if this is really a problem, but I didn't want to take a chance long term. So my solution was to include a 24 pt. acid free board insert for each page. This eliminated that problem, but it is also worth noting that the Profolio book expanded quicker with this addition. What that means is that you will not be able to put a backing board on all 24 pages without the Profolio book bulging considerably. This is where the 12 pages split works where you can do distribute the boards somewhat on both sides to even it out somewhat without overloading the binder. This might not be an issue or problem for you if you don’t use the backing boards, but for my autographs this was not an option. It’s worth noting, all my photos I inserted them in a 2 Mil Polypropylene bags before I inserted them into the Profolio book – again for extra protection. It’s probably an overkill, but did I mention I’m somewhat of a Type A. In the pictures you will see one with an 8x10 photo as is and another with an 8x10 photo with backing board. Right now, I am loading the Profolio book with 8x10 photos and they do move slightly sometimes as is, but with the backing board they pretty much stayed in place. Again, it all depends on how much you fill this book up from what I have noticed. The side view photos I included you can see where the 12 page split is and where I have 7 backing boards on one side and 1 backing board on the other for now with a mixture of photos using the boards on some pages and other pages without the backing boards and only with 8x10 photos loaded on both sides of each page. Not all of the pages were used at the time those photos were taken. I know this was long review, but I hope it was helpful for you and just remember your usage and experience will vary depending on how you use this Profolio book. Overall, it works great for my usage and you can’t go wrong for the price. I actually have an 11x14 Profolio book on order now from the same company based on my positive experience. We’ll see long term if there are any glaring issues which I don’t suspect if used careful on some of the points I mentioned since the pages are delicate and can easily be damaged if not careful.

Good Quality Portfolio
This is my second time purchasing one of these, the first one bought the wrong size by accident, then reordered the correct one, both the same make and brand, and this is a fairly strudy feeling book, nice way to hold photos. The only draw back really that I feel could use an upgrade are the storage sheets the photos go into, the are a slight flimsy and not exactly easy to put the photos into, also they are really thing, and if you're not careful they may tear without much effort. But that said,I still am happy with my purchase, nice quality and affordable.

nice little portfolio
I needed a portfolio for my new designs & these worked great! I like that these are designed like a notebook. My older portfolios have zippers & are bulky. These are not bulky, which is great because it easily fits in my bag. I had some designs kept in a binder where I used acetate page protectors, but these portfolios are even better because the acetate has a closed bottom & you don't have to worry about the work sliding out of the page. (as happened to me, then I'd have to tape it...don't have to do that anymore) :) The price was pretty good too. These are helping me to organize hard copy prints of my designs. Great product, Thanks!

Itoya Art Portfolio: very good product at a good price
I have purchased several of these Itoya Profolio storage portfolios in several sizes, and I have always been happy with them. They come in many sizes and with varying numbers of pages, but the most common items have 24 two-sided pages that hold 48 items. The pages are polypropylene and the inserts are black acid-free soft heavy paper, so that these display units are ideal for archival storage. The covers have a large sleeve around the spine so that each "volume" can easily be labeled and given other identifying information. All-in-all, this is an excellent product that fills a specialized need.
