Dickies Illinois, Men's Boots

These appear fantastically well made boots with really soft luxurious leather. Unfortunately for me the boots seemed fairly wide and whilst the length seemed reasonably bang on size my foot felt very sloppy in the mid section of the boot. They are also pretty bulky and this made them feel huge. I am usually a spot on middle of the road 8 but I am returning these boots and my search continues. Excellent service from Amazon though with free postage and free returns. Shame about the boot sizing.

After months of wearing heavy steel toes, my relief at putting these on might be biased. Comfortable, soft leather, and pleasantly foam-y soles. The only slight drawback is on a hot day or surface extended wear can make the soles feel a little too squishy. In terms of sizing it's a little larger than standard EU sizing, but nothing bothersome.
