Effective and reaches the bottom of large pots
The probe reaches the bottom of my largest pots and gives a good reading of the moisture and helps me balance the plant's needs. The moisture level is easily ready. Well worth the price.

Easy to Use
Easy to evaluate the soil condition(wet, moist, or dry). I like it!

Seemed to break to easily
Seemed to work ok, but when used outdoors in rocky soil, the little sensor tip got stuck in the ground and pulled out of the copper tube, and remained stuck deep in the earth. I'll be looking for a different brand for a replacement. Update: seller reached out to me and refunded my purchase price, even though it was well after the return period. Much appreciated, 2 stars for the product and 2 stars for the seller service.

The probe will break.
Worked well until the probe bent and broke. 2 month lifespan. Do better. I can't seem to find a way to actually contact the seller as that is where the "warranty" information is supposedly at. I worked well until it did not.

I have a black thumb, but with the help of this handy and inexpensive device I’ve been able to keep my Monstera alive! Easy to use, Store, clean. I use it once a week and all my plants are healthy!

DON'T SIT ON IT!
I HAVE PUT THIS LITTLE GIZMO THROUGH SO MUCH TORTURE. IT'S ACTUALLY BENT A LITTLE FROM HAVING BEEN IN MY BACK POCKET. BUT IT'S LIKE THEY USED TO ADVERTISE WATCHES WITH, IT TAKES A LICKING AND KEEPS ON TICKING. IT HAS NEVER ONCE STEERED ME WRONG IN THE AMOUNT OF MOISTURE IN THE SOIL. I DEPEND ON IT BECAUSE I HAPPEN TO BE A PERSON WHO OVERWATERS, CAUSING PLANTS TO DIE YOUNG. WITH THIS LITTLE GARDEN TOY ON BOARD YOUR PLANTS WILL FLOURISH AND GAIN NEW HEIGHTS THE GAUGE IS SIMPLE, IT JUST TELLS YOU RELIABLY WHETHER OR NOT THERE'S MOISTURE IN THE SOIL. GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. JUST DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR BACK POCKET AND SIT ON IT!

Works well but main meter stick should be sturdier
Very nice moisture meter. Long, which makes it good for garden measuring of grass, citrus trees and large pots but the main stick of the meter should be a little stronger. It bent a little.
