Very comfortable and warm
These gloves and a matching pair of fingerless arrived about an hour before we went to a Victorian Christmas Fayre in Portishead and also to buy our real Christmas tree and were we thankful. It was in the middle of the very cold spell we were having in early December 2022 and it was a damp, cold late afternoon. It snowed pretty hard while we were there too. Neither of us could find our old gloves so we took these instead, I had the fingerless and the boss had this pair. She said they were lovely and warm which is a miracle as she has cold hands in the middle of summer. I prefer fingerless anyway and my hands and fingers were warm throughout the whole outing. I wore them to drive down in my old van with an awful heater and they were great for that too. It's also the first time we've bought a tree and not been spiked by the pine needles so that's another plus for them.My late father was a motor mechanic most of his working life and I would help him on evenings and weekends with friends and family cars starting from when I was 10 until he stopped but even after that I've maintained all my own vehicles and helped friends so I know my way around a vehicle. I really think calling these mechanics gloves is a stretch. If you're changing wheels or other similar jobs I think they'd be fine but for more fiddly and intricate jobs I can't see them being any use as they are to thick and cumbersome. Others may disagree but for me it would have to be a much softer and thinner material. For their everyday qualities I happily give them five stars but if I were reviewing them purely as mechanics gloves I would drop it to 2 or 3 stars. To sum up, great everyday gloves that are comfy and warm but pretty useless for mechanics in my opinion.

Waterproof, good in the snow!
I think these gloves are slightly too big for me as I don’t have the dexterity I’d hoped for in them, however they are waterproof which makes them very good for making snowballs!I like that they clip together. I found that they were warm when I first put them on, but by the time I’d been outside in them for a while I found that my hands were starting to get colder - not as cold as they would’ve been without the gloves of course, but I could certainly feel the weather. The velcro on the wrists is a nice touch - I lent them to my daughter to make some snowballs and the velcro was great as it meant the gloves didn’t fall off her hands. They’re currently on for £21.99, which is quite expensive for a pair of gloves, but I think if you get these in a size that fits you really well, they’ll be very good.

Nice gloves!
With the weather we have had the past few days i was able to test them out for the promises of waterproof, windproof and cold proof, i used them to take the ice off the car so here goes…. Windproof - yes, waterproof - yes, cold proof - not entirely i would say after wearing them for 10 minutes i started to feel the cold coming through not entirely but, i dont think they are slim as stated as i found it hard to even pick up my car keys when i dropped them.they fitted well and i did like the fact you can clip them together, overall a good decent pair of gloves for the price id rather have 10% of coldness getting in than 100% of frozen icicles for hands,

Nice enought fit with that extra stretch
I often feel I need a pair of gloves that are useful for doing things with. These gloves are really quite nice, they fit really well if you ignore the really big pinky fingers and extra space in the finger next to my pinky. I have long fingers and all the other fingers in the glove fill out well.So the glove is quite snug, with plenty of stretch and flex. The underside has really decent grip.Overall the glove is not puffy either, so gripping small items with force is very do-able.Overall I am quite happy with these gloves, although the oversized pinky does bother on occasion

Keeps hands fairly warm. Nicely made. Quite strong but also allows good movement.
These gloves arrived just in time as I needed to do some work on the car and it is below-freezing out there now!The gloves are a nice fit. Initially, they felt a little tight but they loosened up a little whilst working. They are reinforced on the palm and fingers with leather. All nicely stitched. And everything seems to be put together well.I can't say they kept my hands overly warm. But then I was handling a lot of extremely cold metal which tends to act as a heatsink. My hands were certainly warmer than if I had not been wearing the gloves and warm enough to remain dextrous. So I am quite happy with them.

Snug but stiff
These are certainly solid and snug gloves. The multi-layer construction makes them warm and comfortable, and the Velcro at the wrist ensures they stay firmly in place while I am working. They have a good grip, but they are very stiff and make it hard to use tools or tightly grip parts. As such I have to remove them for the part of each job that involves dexterity. They are good and I recommend them as warm and solid gloves, but for the advertised use they are too stiff.

They are too thick to work in, but boy oh boy they keep you warm!!
I found that these fitted nice. But they are too thick to work in, especially if you need to 'feel' your work. From the moment i put them on i found them super warm, they are really nice and i will not be using these for mechanics at all, one because theyre too think and two because they're so nice and warm. Ideal for taking the dog for a walk in this weather!!

Well fitting. Nice and warm
Well fitting gloves that are really nice and warm. They are not thick and clumsy and provide good grip and ease of movement for working in. Clip together when not in use to save you loosing one. Velcro around the wrist secures them nicely and stops them slipping about. Touch on the fingers for phone/tablet use could be better but otherwise great gloves
