Turnstile Compatible with Bosch PBD-40 Bench Drill (Round Handle Shape)

I replaced the horrible feed wheel on my PBD-40 bench drill with this. Nice quality components that fit together well and fit the drill. The inlcusion of a bottle of thread lock should ensure the handles don't come loose in operation. (I also replaced the crappy original chuck with a quality Baer keyless engineering chuck) Now, if only there was an upgrade for the anoyingly noisy brushed motor...

I bought one of these for the Bosch PBD-40 bench drill at work and was so impressed that I bought a second for the PBD-40 I use at home. Build quality is excellent with no slop or flex, and it gives far better control and repeatability than the standard setup. Installation was straightforward and the fit is spot on — it genuinely feels like something Bosch should have supplied as standard. It also arrived beautifully packaged, which reflects the overall quality and attention to detail. Both drills now have one permanently fitted. If you use a PBD-40 and want better control and accuracy, this is an easy recommendation.

I honestly wasn’t expecting this to be as well made as it is for the modest price. The hub is machined from solid and the stainless steel arms are extremely strong and durable. It was easy to assemble and fit and has made the drill much easier to use. While some people have the arms could have been longer, I believe they are a sensible length to ensure that 1. They should not be too long given the sized and proportions of the drill itself and 2. Users can’t apply too much force when in use and potentially damaging the drill. Really very, very good.

Does what it says and easy to fit, very pleased so far and much better than the standard wheel.

I read before i purchased the drill that alot of people swapped the wheel for this item and can see why, the wheel isnt the ideal way of plunging the machine. All i will say is i feel the arms could have been 2" longer, it is only approx the same curcumference as the wheel, but my goodness it is well made.

The turnstile handle is a useful improvement to the Bosch pedestal drill. It has better leverage than the circular handle that came with the original unit. I find it easier to operate.

Great upgrade! Aluminium hub is machined and anodised really nicely. Reassuringly heavy stainless steel arms... Even comes with a bottle of blue thread locker to assemble it all with which is a really nice touch! Really happy with it!

Absolument parfait. J'ignore qui est le "génie" chez Bosch qui a proposé l'idée absurde d'utiliser une espèce de "volant" sur l'excellente perceuse PBD40, j'espère qu'on l'a mis en prison depuis longtemps. Cet accessoire 1000 x plus pratique résout tout, je le recommande sans aucune restriction !

J’utilise ce produit en remplacement du volant d’origine sur la perceuse à colonne Bosch PBD40. Et la manivelle de remplacement est beaucoup plus agréable et maniable que le volant d’origine. Si vous avez la perceuse PBD40 faire cette investissement vous n’en serez pas déçu

Product is mooi en degelijk vervaardigd en past goed op de bedoelde kolomboormachine. Top: Draadborglijm is bijgevoegd. Update van eerdere review: De leverancier heeft n.a.v. mijn opmerking in mijn product review contact met mij opgenomen. In mijn eerdere review (zie hieronder ) had ik een opmerking over de bevestiging van het draaikruis op de as van boormachine. De leverancier heeft een technische uitleg gegeven waarom dit volgens hun in orde is en tevens aangeboden om in geval mijn product het begeeft een nieuwe toe te sturen. Heel goed opgelost dus. Opmerking van eerdere review: Minpunt: Knop van wiel valt niet in de nok op de as van de boormachine, maar heeft een rond gat. De draaibeweging van het wiel rust dus volledig op de bout waarmee het wiel vast zit. Dit is een slecht ontwerp en zeker minder dan het origineel van Bosch. Jammer, want verder is het een mooi product. Ik ben benieuwd of dit ontwerpfoutje gaat leiden tot een hele korte levensduur.
