Can I use this for brick driveway

If you mean between bricks (not block paving though), don’t see why not. Used it between paving slabs and it worked great.

I've used this product before but some grout has come away. Can I just brush this on top of the old grout so it sits in the void?

Advise you brush out all the loose grout - then use easy joint.

The picture of tub says jointing compound. Words say grout..are they the same thing? We have been using jointing compound

Jointing compound is the best description for this but could also be called grout, this is tiny granuals in a resin compound, you wet surface, pour on, sweep compound into cracks and leave to dry. Hope this helps.
