Worth the money!
I tried 2 - 3 other type of boom arms before I bought this one. If you want to use a heavy mic or a setup with a shock mount and all, this is the one you should get. It might look a bit expensive if you compare it to the cheap ones that are 600-800. But it's worth the money. I tried those cheap ones and it broke in just a week. They just can't hold the weight and their joints are really loose. You'll spend more time tightening the joints in those ones. This is way better than any other mic stand. It doesn't fall down even when extended to its full length horizontally, with all the weight of the setup. This will be a way better long term investment because it will last for years. Update: it's been 2 years now and it's still working just as a new one.

Does the job, not good not worse
Look, you get what you pay for, it does the job of holding the mic steady nothing bad about it, but its a cheap mic arm, and actually a good one for its price. But the screen part that goes in front of the mic is useless it does not hold its position. I would suggest buy an arm and all these parts separately it will be of same price And don’t buy in combos

Worn thread on mic attachment
Product is wobbly at the base joint and the thread on the actual mic attachment doesn't slot well with the stand. Pulling on the mic or jerking just detaches the mic. Was expecting to have no issues at this price point. The base clamp itself is pretty solid. Product looks good though and with some mods, is pretty usable. Just wouldn't expect to have to mod a costly product to use it safely.
