D Mannose has changed my life for the better. It is very effective. I make sure I am never without some at home. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

They do work well, always seem to stave off a urinary tract infection for me. Just take them when I start to get symptoms

I had a hysterectomy in my forties and had HRT until mid fifties. After a few years, I started having cystitis, apparently this is quite a common issue for people of a certain age. When I was younger I would get it now and then but nothing like this. I was prescribed antibiotics again and again. Got urine infections again and again. I was afraid to make plans to go away or even to go out at all, as it was now chronic. Then my daughter found out from a colleague both nurses that quite a few of her patients in the same situation took D Mannose and found a benefit. I have been taking this brand for over a year now, one a day then if I have any alcohol one of the triggers for me I take another one in the evening. I have been to many events, been away etc… it has changed my life. I still have to drink loads of water and watch out for the triggers, also I have had a few mild attacks but nothing really compared to where I was. Highly recommend this brand.

I decided to try these after suffering with a persistent case of cystitis that I’d had for over two weeks, however on two separate doctor visits I was found to have “no infection” so I was not prescribed any antibiotics. I had recently been on antibiotics in the last two months for the same issue, which did work, but this time I was left to suffer (if you’ve had cystitis, you know the pain)! I was really frustrated and each day my symptoms were still there, causing me huge discomfort and really affecting my life. I decided to do some research and found that ~60% of urine dip-tests come back negative, even when there is infection, which I definitely though was the case with myself. I found a blog post about D-mannose and how it was a life-saver, so thought it couldn’t hurt to try it. I’ve been taking it 3x a day for 3 days so far, and my symptoms have ENTIRELY disappeared, I’m amazed! I’m lowering my dosage to 2x a day now since I’m completely better and then plan to take it 1x a day for prevention after that. This stuff is amazing! A little pricey but honestly it’s worth it if you are struggling with cystitis and don’t want to be on antibiotics/can’t get antibiotics. The pills are a bit large, but I find they snap in half easily (I can also take them whole quite easily, so the size really hasn’t been a problem for me at all).
