The Art of Theological Reflection

I liked most to find a guide for continuous reflection, especially being able to apply to my own life.

This book is a marvelous exploration into theological reflection and will be used by me all this coming year in the class I will be mentoring. If you are in a study that stresses theological reflection this is the book to get.

The Art of Theological Reflection is part of Ph.D thesis on attachment and conflict management styles specifically for clergy. Busy-ness robs us from the "reflections at Walden Pond" or anywhere else for that matter.

My second copy to give to a friend. Good explanations, good examples, and good directions for groups or individual theological reflection.

The tools in this book are fantastic and well worth the price of the book. The text did get a little repetitive and the chapter on group facilitation really needed to be its own book. But all in all, well worth it.

It explains how to have a good balance between your experience and the tradition of the church; and that is the place where the conversations with God begin.

Book arrived in stated condition and prior to est. arrival date. An aid for formulation of concepts and penning of thoughts so that the average person would not get lost following what is written because of lack of personal study.

I would recommend if you are studying theology. Very easy reading.
