GrooveTech Guitar Player Kit

This toolkit arrived very promptly and first impressions are good. The tools seem very robust and of decent quality. In truth, the product is probably a little over-priced compared with the cost of the items bought individually. But what you are paying for is the convenience of getting all these items together, in one order, and knowing they are all well suited to working on guitars. That's probably going to be most attractive to those starting out on the world of set-ups, guitar tech. etc.I'm only giving 4 stars because the kit does not include the files you may need for filing the grooves in the nut. That would have been an obvious thing to include in such a kit, and would not have added much to the price.All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to others.

Bought for my husband who has previously spent a lot of money having his guitars set up. A very professional kit with every tool needed and full instructions for use. A kit that will save a lot of money and time when guitars have previously been away in the workshop. The case is a little flimsy for heavy use but overall good quality well made tools, clear instructions for use and even some plectrums! Quite expensive but good value for money.

As other reviews have said, it's hugely overpriced for the tools within the kit, but I did know this up front. Again, as the other reviews have said, I paid the money for the convenience of having them together in a kit.A big plus is the guitar set up guide that comes with it. Extremely useful.

A lot cheaper to buy individual items but handy little holder

Quality is quite good, the driver for adjusting truss rod is difficult to to get leverage with, because it is a screw driver handle, however I was able to get a adjustable spanner on the handle to add leverage.

I would have given this a 5 star rating, but I found it to be a tad over priced. Having said that, they are very good quality tools and will probably last a good few years. The set up guide included is very comprehensive and clearly written. there is space in the wallet for more things and room for notes etc.Overall a very good set of tools for guitar set up and maintenance work. Thoroughly recommended.

Fairly decent piece of kit for any guitar tech or DIY guitar guru, everything fits nicely in the case and you can also add more if need be. I have to say it is a pricey purchase but it saves ordering from lots of different places and the tools are of good quality.

Great little toolkit - only to string winder looks a bit down on the quality, but I don't use it so really it shouldn't put people off. Well packaged.
