Controls hunger
Well it definitely curbs hunger. If you mix it with water, neck it, drink some more water (or squash) about 10 - 20 mins before eating a meal then I have found I dont feel hungry until about the time next meal is due whereas normally I'm hungry in between meals and end up snacking. It won't magically stop you wanting to eat if surrounded by cake and crisps even if not hungry (as I found out at work yesterday!) But in a controlled environment it works on hunger for sure. No idea on weight loss as only tried for 2.5 days. Once weight is going down I expect it becomes easier to say no to naughty things though (usually how it works for me) I put a little in a glass with a bit of water as wanted to actually see what happens and after about 15 mins it looks like wallpaper paste - pretty solid so can definitely see how it fills up the stomach.

A very uselful product
I purchased this as a recommendation by my nutritionist, as I was going on a fasting regime to reduce my insulin levels, being t2 diabetic.I have though about psyllium husk, but glad I didn't. That gels really quickly but this PGX is really good in that you have plenty of time to mix it, and it doesn't suddenly gel in your mouth!!Granted it's not cheap compared to Psyllium husk but it's completely better. Having used it for a few days now, I don't have a problem with the task and think it a good product and I would buy it again.

Brilliant product
It was after Reading Patrick Holford's book on reversing diabetes when he extolled the benefits of PGX for balancing blood sugars. I can say hand on heart that this item truly lives up to his findings. I have reversed Diabetes once but slipped back into old habits so back to a routine of only eating products from the Low Glycemic Index plus PGX. It is the best fibre on the planet for many bowel problems too. Few of us eat enough fibre, so you have nothing to lose except weight as it controls overeating too. PGX states clearly on the box that it only claims to keep healthy blood sugars in check, but I have found that it bought mine within the correct scale in a very short time, which for me is geat news. I will keep purchasing this product for sure.

A noticeable difference straight away
Now, these aren't a miracle weight loss tool, BUT I noticed immediately that I don't find myself bingeing in the afternoon as I get hungry towards supper time, so they definitely help in that respect. I'm eating noticeably less since using PGX and my choices aren't as unhealthy anymore either (maybe because I'm not as hungry!).Yes, when you put it in a glass of water, it does thicken very rapidly, it does have a few lumps in it and it is very grainy.. BUT it doesn't taste of anything at all, so man up, put it in some juice if you have to and drink it nice and quickly. It's really not difficult!

Keeps me feeling fuller for longer
These are great to have by themselves or pop over cereal. The only thing is if you add to water you have to drink it really quickly or the water will thicken . Since taking this and a few other products my suger levels have improved dramartically

Tastes rubbish
Didn't like this product. It tasted rubbish and I hated the texture. Whether it's any good or not, I don't know as I didn't finish taking it because it tasted so awful. Wouldn't recommend it because of this.

it does what t says. When taken with a shake drink it is very filling but you need to drink it quickly.
