Bought this to replace a cheap plastic handled set. The set was big! The cutlery tray I have is way too small for the length of the pieces in this set. Hefty weight, nice polish. Almost as good as the Oneida set we have for special occasions. I was floored, as I was not expecting very much for the price. The steak knives are very sharp and tang fastened. Recommend highly.

I've had these for a few weeks and wanted to use them after a few cycles in the dishwasher before writing a review. This is a solid and basic set of silverware. They are pretty sturdy for the price. If you're used to having some heaviness in your hands while holding your silverware, you may want like these, but they do feel sturdy while in use. If you need a set of silverware that stands up in the dishwasher, these are great! And, the steak knives are sharp with a firm wooden handle--a sturdiness I was not expecting at this price point.

They hold up well and have survived many runs into the dishwasher. A good choice for those that enjoy two sizes of silverware.
