Easy to switch out old to new.
Identical to the factory motor that came with my car down to the mounting and the metal piece that attached to my front windshield.I had issues with my original mirror due to Safelite auto glass tech cracking my original mirror when my front windshield was replaced a few month ago and I rolled with it until the mirror wouldn’t just stay up anymore.I went on Amazon and looked up 2018 Kia Optima rear view mirror and this product came up. I bought it and it arrived hours later.The new mirror slid right onto the old metal adapter attached to the front windshield very easily, the mirror portion is made with great quality.If you have a 2018 Kia optima, get this mirror!

Perfect replacement for Kia.
Fit perfectly and was easy to install. I already had the metal bracket still attached so it perfectly slide down onto that with a tight fit. Secure, smooth glide, doesn’t lose position or move. Highly recommend.

Appears to be OEM replacement!
Universal rearview mirrors suck. The best one I found was too narrow and in warm weather would have an awful jitter.This one is a like for like replacement and has the Hyundai and Kia markings on it identical to the one that was broken when I bought the car used. I'm guessing the previous owner had stuff hanging off it due to the scratches on it. We'll see if this one lasts. I'm already more confident since it's OEM and the channel that it slips on seems more angled than the old one. (Could be due to wear, it's hard to tell) I'll update the review if there are any issues, but installing it was super easy and I adjusted it for a bit and seems to be holding steady as expected! I was hoping the channel would be metal, but it is still plastic like the original. Comes with the metal button to adhere to the windshield. Thankfully I didn't need it since the one on the windshield is still attached and looks exactly the same. Package was substantial and the mirror was in bubble wrap.
