Ring RAC620 12V Analogue Tyre Inflator, Air Compressor Tyre Pump, LED Light, Adaptor Set and Case

I bought this item after having a number or punctures, that didn't allow me to drive to a garage. It is very compact product and can be tucked away in a car boot without taking up much room. It is powered by the car lighter and after using it, I was able to inflate a half flat tyre in around 5 mins. This product will get you out of some tricky situations and so is now as valued as my car's jack and wheel bolt remover.

I bought this to replace a different budget compressor (from a different brand) which broke very quickly. So far I'm very impressed at what you get for the price. The real test will be the reliability in the long run, but I can't comment on this yet.It's a compact, well designed package. The air hose tucks into a compartment in the side, there are plastic clips and velcro to hold the power cable. The extra adapters (for footballs etc.) are also held by a clip on the back of the unit. All of this fits in the bag provided.Controls are easy to operate (even if wearing gloves) and the pressure gauge is easier to read than other budget models I've used.The white and red LEDs aren't all that bright, but to me the light function is an extra rather than something I would rely on.Overall, very impressed with the design and features for the money. I would recommend!

Purchased this after I had a screw in one of my tyres and a friend had this machine. As soon as I arrived home I ordered this and have since used it. Reliability as you have instant air when you require it wherever you are as long as you have power from your battery. Would easily recommend this product as it is very easy to use and pack away in the case when finished.

I have used this recently and was quite impressed: like other car compressors that I have used, it is relatively quick up to around 20psi and takes considerably longer up to and about 30psi. I timed it on a flatish tyre which was 11psi and it took about 4 minutes to get up to pressure. Obviously this is slower than taking it to the garage and paying to use their compressor, but much more convenient in that you don't have to travel to pump up a tyre. I used it on all 4 tyres and the job was done in under 15 minutes from beginning to end; the cable was more than adequate and it all packs away into a small carry bag. The compressor is small, so not immensely powerful, but it stores away in the boot, taking little space. You can run the lamp, which is handy in the dark and it appears to have a flash-on-flash-off setting, which would be useful as a warning, if you are on the side of the road. It is not cheap, but the price is comparable to others on the market and appears to be of good quality. Overall, I am impressed by the neatness of size and functionality, without being overawed by its performance but, in fairness, performance is as good as the last one I owned, which cost more. I am not disappointed in the purchase and think that it is good value for the price paid.

Neat, compact unit, supplied in protective case. The LED light is something of a token gesture, probably only useful if you've really got no other choice, it will get you out of trouble. Its fine for car tyre pressure, shame it can't quite deliver higher pressure for cycling.

Good little tool, value for money, stays in the 'oops' kit in my car.

It was so simple to operate and needed no physical effort. When the car measures the tyre pressure one needs to keep topping up and this saves the garage trip.

Da Reifenluft zunehmend nur noch kostenpflichtig (an manchen Tankstellen) angeboten wird und man oft auch mit schlecht funktionierenden oder komplett defekten Geräten konfrontiert wird, hatte ich die Idee, mir einen eigenen Kompressor anzuschaffen. Meine Wahl fiel schließlich auf den Ring Automotive RAC620 12V Kompressor mit analoger Druckanzeige.Der erste Test mit diesem Gerät verlief sogar besser (in Bezug auf dessen Leistung) als ursprünglich erwartet: Bei einem Fahrzeug mit längeren Standzeiten wurde per Digital-Luftdruckmesser folgende Situation festgestellt: Bei einem Sollwert von 2,0 Bar an allen vier Reifen fehlten 1x vorne 0,9 und an den restlichen Reifen 0,5 Bar an Luftdruck. Den Motor lies ich während des Aufpumpens laufen um die Batterie nicht zu entladen, da das Fzg. wie gesagt schon einige Wochen stand. Pro Reifen dauerte das Aufpumpen nicht länger als 1 bis 2 Minuten. Hier hatte ich längere Zeiten befürchtet. Da jedoch das Geräusch relativ laut ist, empfiehlt es sich nicht während der Ruhezeiten (Mittag, Nacht) aufzupumpen, sofern das Fzg. in einem Wohngebiet steht.Das Anschrauben an die Ventile gestaltete sich kinderleicht und ohne Probleme. Ein sehr angenehmer Kontrast zu den oftmals sehr schwierig an die Ventile anzubringenden "Profi-Geräten" an Tankstellen. Die analoge Anzeige war, obwohl sicherlich nicht absolut exakt, gut genug um in etwa den gewünschten Druck beim "1. Versuch" einstellen zu können. Den Preisunterschied zum Ring Kompressor mit digitaler Anzeige würde ich somit als nicht gerechtfertigt ansehen, zumal für die Differenz auch ein handlicher, digitaler Druckmesser erstanden werden kann.Alle vier Reifen pumpte ich nacheinander auf, ohne Pause, und konnte dabei keine großartige Wärmeentwicklung feststellen. Nach dem 4. Reifen war eine leichte Wärme (lauwarm) am Gehäuse des Kompressors zu fühlen.Fazit: Ich würde dieses Gerät jederzeit wieder kaufen und es auch weiterempfehlen. Für den seltenen, privaten Gebrauch sicherlich gut geeignet, für eine Werkstatt wohl eher nicht. Über langfristige Haltbarkeit mache ich mir bei dem sehr günstigen Preis keine großen Gedanken und erwarte auch nicht wirklich das dieses Gerät 15, 20 oder mehr Jahre hält.

Les + :- très compact- peu bruyant pour ce type de produit (cad trop pour la nuit...)- les ranges câbles, la pochette de rangement- la rapidité de gonflage- une précision correcteLes - :- embout à visser sur les pneus (un clips à enficher est certes moins modulaire mais tellement plus pratique)- les emboûts qui ne tiennent pas dans leur compartiment de rangement (un moindre mal...)Conclusion : A ce prix, il semble difficile de faire mieux. Un produit qui évolue au fil de ses versions et qui inspire confiance.

Un ottimo prodotto che abbina alla sua funzionalità un minimo ingombro e peso il tutto dentro una pratica custodia. Non potentissimo (non pretendete di gonfiare una ruota alla velocità del compressore di un gommista) ma per il prezzo di questo oggetto fà più che egregiamente il suo dovere. Indicatore di pressione preciso. In sintesi rapporto qualità/prezzo da 4 stelle.
