This is my first customized keyboard and I couldn’t ask for something more user friendly. I ended up taping the back and putting in the gateron milky yellow switches that I’ve been waiting to try, but I almost love the switches that came with it more. I took the tape off because it felt like too much with the sound dampening foam and put it back together. The backlight is so pretty, I just haven’t figured out how to change the settings for the color. The default setting is the solid rainbow but when you type it dances around. My *only* complaint is that it didn’t come with a guide for the backlight, just a guide for the cable which is pretty self explanatory lol.

We did a lot of research on affordable mechanical keyboards. This one felt like it was too good to be true, with the price. It was not. My son and animals have beat this thing up and it has had 0 issues. The switches we chose are better then the ones that came with my $100+ keyboard as well as the cord, switch puller, and included extras. We do not pull these boards apart and rebuild them but this is a perfect first time, mechanical keyboard for my son. Very important that it had the directional keys spaced out from the rest of the board. That was hard to find.

I got this 2 years ago and it worked fine for half the year and started pressing keys that weren't being pressed so I put it away for a year thinking it was my fault a few weeks ago I took it out again it was working fine til a week has passed and it went back to doing the same thing so I gut out the keyboard and looked at the pcb. The pcb is horrible there are 10 connections that should not be touching at all and that's why it was "pressing" keys that aren't being pressed so I went on there actual website and you CAN NOT and really CAN NOT contact them when you put in your phone it says invalid even thought it is a live phone number and I've tried with 3 other ones as well nothing so you can not contact them on there sight and I tried to contact them on amazon and nothing. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!

For those who are preparing to customize keyboard and are looking for a 5-pin keyboard, this is not your choice. The keyboard is large and fully lit, but the material is very bad. It makes a lot of noise every time you press it because the plastic material is very poor and the keys are wobbly.

I got the one with the Brown keys it is very quiet.

Love the feel of the (blue) key switches. The keyboard feels solid and well built. I really like the full size keys and space saved due to lack of num pad. The included cable is just a fancy looking and heavy duty usb A to C cable, I used my own usb cable. Lighting is nice, has several modes, most of them more suited to demos than typing. Easy to switch between them with a simple key combo. I use the basic (static) mode. No fancy software needed for light modes. Only nit to pick is that the caps lock status LED is not as bright as I would like. Great value, bought another as a backup because I like this keyboard better than the WAY more expensive ones in local stores.

The AK873 is a very good gaming keyboard. While it is hot-swappable, changing the switches is quite difficult even with the included tool. However, for its price, the build quality and overall value are excellent.

Solid keyboard, for $70 I was not disappointed

Greatbacklit with good brightness..Good for a beginner..Does not sound hollow sound..All the keys are working ..Happy with the purchase
