Edited Review: 5 starsThis is a great company with amazing customer service! After my initial review, the company sent us a smaller version of the large bento box. The smaller version fits perfectly in my son's lunchbox! The different compartments are perfect for a sandwich and 2 sides. Again, the small sauce container that comes with it is awesome! They fit a lot and the silicone top is easy for my 3 year old to remove independently. I love these because they are stainless steel, as we try to move away from excessive plastic use. We will definitely order from WeeSprout again and I would encourage others to, as well!Original Review: 2 starsGreat quality, but doesn't fit in normal sized lunch box for a pre-schooler. Difficult for an adult to open, let alone a child. I would not recommend for use with littles. However, the little dip container that comes with it, with the silicone top, is amazing! My 3 year old can open that and it has not leaked.

Really loving these big bentos. A little difficult to open at first, but once you find the sweet spot, they aren’t that bad (kiddos have figured it out, too). I can pack it with a ton of food which lasts them through lunch and leftovers for snack. Really glad I got the ones with the silicone bottoms as I can have a different color for each kid, and it provides a bit of traction on a car ride. Would buy again.

We love our little bento boxes. My kids are toddler age so the small size is perfect for them. It cleans easy and seals well with the stainless steel lid. Great quality.On another note the customer service from WeeCare has been over the top! I ordered two one for my daughter and one for my son — two five year olds. And when I discovered one had the colored silicone skid-free cover and the other none, I sought to purchase it. They served me promptly, with kindness. Recommending the product and will buy from them again because they take good care of the customer!

I love this for dry snacks and maybe foods like carrots and apples. But when I put a cut fruit like grapes or pineapple in it, it will leak to the other compartments. I also like to make my lunches the night before and because the compartments share air, my dry snacks can become chewy. I will use it for snacks but it’s not a great lunch box option in my opinion. Small condiment container is great and has proven leak proof. And I love the look and simplicity of it. Functionally it falls short.

If you are looking for a product that could last you a lifetime go with stainless steel! Even though it impacts visibility I love that there is no plastic touching my food from any surface area of this container, not even the dividers are plastic! I also love the design as they are not too tall to where they take up more space than necessary in the fridge and they are very stackable which is an issue I'm finding with other stainless steel food container products. My only wish is that they had versions that have either a half and half divider or no divider at all and a square-shaped ring on the lid or extended metal tab on one of the corners that would allow for easy removal of the lid when your hands are wet or the box is very full of liquid so that the liquid doesn't get on your clothes when opening from the side. Also they could maybe have magnetic labels that one could stick to the lid for labeling what's inside such as "dinner" "sides" or Dinner 1, Dinner 2, Dinner 3 or "fruit" "veggies" or something of that sort maybe just magnetic dots of different colors to identify "green" for veggies or red for fruit or strawberries who knows, all I know is that this company has a lot of potential for re-imaging food storage, they just need to take the next steps and go the extra mile to make something fun and long lasting for every family.

I am not sure how this would work for anyone. I had a very hard time getting to lid off. So much force is needed to get the lid off that the contents inside will fly everywhere once the lid finally comes off. These were supposed to be for my 2 and 4 year olds at preschool. What a joke. They wouldn’t even work for an adult unless you want your food slung everywhere. Also, the silicone cover in the bottom seems like it would get very loose after a little use and continuously fall off.

I bought this for my kid for lunches. He me month in and it’s doing well. Easy to clean, leak proof so far, the lid gets stuck sometimes so I send my kid with silverware to pop it open and that works. They’re a kindergartner so it’s easy for a younger kid to do. Very large and spacious for plenty of food.
