Too small? No, it's perfect!
A lot of reviews here mention this planner being too small. At 6" wide and 8" tall, it's slightly bigger than the A6 planner it's replacing. The old planner was about 5.5" wide and that caused some problems with the pen and tabs from dividers pushing into each other. This planner has that extra bit of room. Additionally, the binder rings are just slightly larger than a typical A6. I can fit around 160 pages in this vs. about 100 in the other binder.Besides the size, the rest of this planner is lovely. Sturdy and well made. The front pockets are great - yes, the side pocket opens to the left, but the zipper blocks anything from falling out. Speaking of the zipper, it's also sturdy and the planner zips open and closed smoothly. There's no back pocket but the many front pockets make up for that.Very lightweight as well.Very, very pleased with this purchase!

AT FIRST, UNHAPPY!
Bought the refill, started using. Thought it should be bigger! Wrong! The more I use it, more I'm glad I purchased this. Fits in my daily bag without a problem. Solid on all fronts. I ordered the refill when I ordered the Planner.

Feels very cheap
This has a very cheap feel to it, I would pay more next time for something better.

not enough pages in the blank universal calendar for a whole year :(
The whole point of buying a planner is to keep track of things all year and this planner is supposed to come with weekly and monthly pages that are undated so you can fill it in and use it for any calendar year. But when I wrote in the dates throughout, I ran out of pre-printed pages in mid-Oct and even using the blank "notes" pages provided to draw my own (a hassle), I STILL ran out before the end of Dec!!! what a waste of time and money. Now I have to buy new weekly inserts anyway. :( The zippered binder itself (minus the insert pages) is decent quality but the metal tabs you push to open the binder rings are pretty small and flat so it's not all that easy to pop them open. Cover seems durable though.
