SHG at Home Wifey's Drink Solid Oak Coaster, 10cm x 10cm

My partner absolutely loved this and uses it every day, great value for money and made well.

The media could not be loaded.  At the time of this review, this cut Mat is selling for around £5 on Amazon.It’s big enough to take a fairly large mug. The printing is reasonably clear the pink could be brighter.The top has a light coat of varnish to protect it. The rest of the wood is it what is untreated.There are four little pads stuck to the bottom to prevent damage to the surface that it’s on. Overall, its reasonably nice quality £5 is the top end of what it’s worth. In my opinion, the finishing could be a bit better.I hope you found the short video on the review helpful.

This coaster is made of solid oak and has the words "Wifey's Drink" engraved on it. It's a stylish and practical gift for a wife or a newlywed couple. The price of £6.99 seems reasonable for a single coaster made of high-quality oak.

This arrived simply presented in a sealed polythene sleeve.It is simply constructed from what is claimed to be oak. It must be from the original "old oak tree" as mine has a slight crack in it on one edge (see photo)To be fair it doesn't really detract from the look of the item and certainly has no impact on its use.It could have undergone better quality control before shipping though.It has 4 small felt surface protectors in each corner on the underside, though I feel they are not necessary as the wood is unlikely to mark any surface.The text is amusing and what immediately made get this coaster, however if you think about it it doesn't quite work - especially for coffee mugs. Because even when empty you will not see the inscription through the mug.I'm over analysing I know. I gave it the wife and she did have a bit of a giggle and she uses it all the time, annoyingly for glasses of beer where she does indeed keep pointing at the refill instructions as soon as she sees it.Its a fun item. Cheap and useful.Mine suffered from a small construction flaw - but hopefully they all don't have them.

I got this as a joke gift for my future husband but for me and I love it! Im not sure what its printed with though because the top of it was a little sticky like it wasnt fully dry or something. But overall, its great.

🍵 This is a nice-looking fun coaster in natural oak and is made of a solid piece of wood. In my example, the wood even seems to have some natural figure in the oak for added attractiveness. The message printed on the front is humorous, and there are plenty of options available to suit the situation. My advice is to know your audience before choosing wisely.🍵 The front face is varnished, and hopefully it is resistant to a hot beverage, but only time will tell. The varnish is only a single coat, and you can feel the raised wood grain. One of the corners had a small chip out of it, but this is only an inexpensive coaster, so I am not too bothered. The felt feet ensure that it is kind to surfaces that it is placed on. ✔️

What can I say? Its a lovely wooden coaster with a funny message that made my wife smile (although she now has something she can throw at me if she is angry). It is a well made, smooth wooden placemat. The underside has 4 felt feet, one at each corner, and the placemat is about half a centimetre thick.A good placemat for the special lady in your life.

This is a solid oak coaster with a varnish finish to the top only. It’s got a slightly silly print on the front which you either like or don’t!Quality wood overall.
