Pine Bunkbed Ladder - Bunk Bed Slanted Ladder Solid Pine

Bought for a motorhome to replace the supplied aluminium item. The vehicle has a lowering bed from the roof and the height of the ladder supplied dictated the position of the bed. We wanted it a bit lower, so bought a shorter ladder.Its simple to assemble, comes with screws and fixings and can take the weight of an adult. I also shortened it even further by taking a couple of inches off the bottom.Its not expensive, and it does the job

Decent build quality and did the job needed

It was quite easy to assemble, which it needed to be as we only ordered it a few days before our grandchildren came to stay

The was bought as a replacement for the bunk ladder in our holiday cottage which had broken as the bunks are often used by adults/older teens and the original ladder could not support the extra weight. I thought the price was high, initially, but I discovered that separate ladders are not readily available. I was very pleased with the quality of this ladder, which is far superior to the ladders which are supplied with most bunks. The treads are held in place by 4 very strong bolts, and the thickness of the wood is such that it will not split easily, which had happened to the original ladder, making it irreparable.the ladder hooks on securely and as it rests at an angle, it does not restrict access to the lower bunk when in use, and can be easily removed and stored flat against the wall when not in use. I would highly recommend this product and supplier. The ladder requires assembly, which is quick and easy, though I would recommend using a good quality Allen key- one is supplied but the design and material make the job longer and more fiddly.
