This book very clearly describes the challenges leaders face when they rise to the next level and how to address those challenges. It showed me that my struggles and self doubt are not uncommon and how they can be overcome!

Good book with helpful and thought provoking concepts. Really enjoyed the first 36 chapters. The insertion of the writer’s politics, while certainly his right as the author, felt disjointed, obligatory and forced. It was a disappointing way to wrap up an otherwise good read.

I really enjoyed it. It was like Mike was in my head and wrote this book just for me. It exposed me to a lot of new content and concepts including how to lead from a true, genuine place to build trust and create great teams. I will be referring back and leveraging this book as an academic text book on how to lead.Mike helped me understand that leadership reflects my relationship with myself. His neuroscience POV was interesting, especially how to move from Ego-based actions to building self-awareness and leading through my Authentic-self. Mike does a great job explaining to you how to put this into practice. I suffer from imposter syndrome despite my success, most people do, and I've always heard about it but it's never been explained. Truly a book that demonstrates what service in Leadership is all about. Gets you thinking about being a leader that can make a difference. The world needs more real leaders that are not driven by ego, but passion.

I completed reading Leadership Mindset 2.0 in 10 days and I am sure I will have few more reads before I call it quits (from my profession). I am a Technologist who wants to grow into senior leadership positions, and I realized that for my growth, I learned that I need to practice myself to be in my "authentic self" a lot than to let my "ego" take over.I also took the quiz that Michael has referred in his book and though I am not in full agreement with the blind spots for my leadership style, I couldn't agree more with the list of things that I need to work on my blind spots in order to be a great leader, Michael is spot-on!I may not do some of the exercises as it is written (e.g., 50 stack technique for overcoming imposter syndrome) but I certainly will try a shorter version of it. I have used few of Michael's techniques from our 1-1/FB group sessions before and they have worked. Have no reason to not do that with some new ones from the book. We have worked with R. Michael Anderson since 2014. Bringing him in to work with our teams or even special interest groups like the National Association of Women Business Owner's Million Dollar Roundtable. His speaking and mentoring were life-changing for many. I recently read his book on leadership mindset and couldn't recommend it more highly. It was full of great insights and perspectives on cultivating the right attitude for effective leadership. It's an excellent resource for anyone looking to build their skills in this area, giving valuable information and real-life examples to back up its points. The writing style was also engaging and easy to read - a must-read!

A very informative and thought-provoking book. Definitely given me a chance to reflect, on life choices and leadership. Looking forward to trying the skills learnt.

Very interesting focus on self-analysis before going into other more typical leadership aspects. Excellent recaps, methodologies and proposed exercises. Recommended

You will learn and reflect on yourself. Good book to have on hand at the office.
