There was no setup for me to do as the doorbell and receivers were already paired and worked straight away after plugging them in. if you do need to pair them the instructions are clear enough, so it should be easy to do, though do it before sticking the push button up on the wall.The push button and two receivers are considerably smaller than they appear in some of the product photos. This isn't a problem though. The LED lights on the receivers are tiny and it is unlikely that you'd notice them unless the room was quite dark and you weren't distracted. This would only be a problem when you have the doorbell on silent.The default chime is your basic ding-dong, which suits me fine. Personally, I don't want a musical doorbell and find most of the other tunes to be rather tacky, but that's just my opinion. I've uploaded a video demonstrating some of the chimes.If you've set a different chime than the default, unplugging the receiver will cause it to revert to the default chime (ding dong) and sound volume (wake the dead).With the obvious exception of silent mode, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the volume settings, but this isn't too much of an issue.

Each chime can be set to one of several little tunes, including a few festive ones.I did record two videos but I'm only allowed to upload one sorry.The door bell and chimes are very easy to pair and the chimes just plug into a socket.This is top notch and definitely worth the cash. I think I will buy one for my elderly friend as she us getting a little deaf these days.

A great bell at a very reasonable price however the instructions need an update. I managed to read them using my phone's camera. So for those who struggle to get the bell working, as I did, here is some hints. Remove the plastic insulator from the bell push so the battery is live. Plug the chimer into power socket now press the lower button until the chime you require comes up then press the top button which is the volume button while also pressing the push bell button for 5 seconds until you hear the sound that indicates that the bell button is linked with the receiver and the chosen chime is set as default, then repeat with the second receiver.

So simple to setup and install the doorbell itself you just screw onto the frame or use a self adhesive strip pull the tab out and plug the two socket doorbells wherever you want sometimes when we are upstairs we cannot hear the door so I think it's great that I can have one plugged in upstairs and one plugged in downstairs it's really that simple it took all of about 10 minutes to do and if I move I just simply unplug and take away with me. The doorbell makes two different sounds so you can either have a ding dong or a little musical I have attached a video so people can see. Also they are a nice simple design. Smart. Light weight. I am very pleased with them.. instructions coming a box for anybody wanting to know more I have attached to picture. Highly recommended

My first impression upon receiving this was that I had not received the full complement of two receivers as the box was so small. But, needless to say, it was all there. Much, much smaller than my old, (non-functioning), 20-year old bell.Luckily for me, the bell push was almost exactly the same size as my old one, so I could unscrew the old one and use one of the screw holes plus the sticky pad to attach the new one. All done within 60 seconds.It took a while longer to listen to all the tunes, some of which made me laugh out loud (and the siren make me jump). All the favourites are there, starting from umpteen variations of the (default) ding-dong, through Für Elise, Auld Lang Syne, Happy Birthday and even a couple of spoken ones. All very clear and of better quality than you might imagine. And there are 3 levels of volume, enough to interrupt the most engrossed of soap-watchers.One of the units is in the lounge and one in my workshop in the garden and they both work, so the 1,000 ft claim might well be justified.I'm well pleased with its performance and the price here on Amazon.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  A doorbell with two chime devices, means you can have one upstairs and one downstairs, or even in the garage / workshop, if you have a plug there, you can have a chime there. four volume settings, plus one mute setting - for the Sunday lie in,... or the napping baby,... and literally LOADS of chimes to choose from. They look great, both the button unit external and the chime units. Also, the chime units have an LED which flashes, so if you want a non - audible alert, sorted!
