Curiosity doesn’t always kill the cat, or whomever came out with that one, but curious me I came to find out about Kreche products, and particularly the No Sugar Added Dulce de Leche. Right here at all powerful Amazon. Being fully aware of the popularity dulce de leche has been achieving, and extremely familiar with the tradition of this very special, and exquisite when prepared correctly, surpassing fudge, butterscotch, caramel, you name it in deliciousness, I immediately paused and from looking at other reviews of other Kreche offerings that were a little up there, truly enthusiastic regarding their lineup, I went to their website. Found the no sugar added plus their other tempting varieties, but I purchased a few of the no sugar, 4 to be exact to qualify for free shipping, crossing fingers all along it would impress favorably, and not waste our moola. A few years back La Lechera was selling a 50% off less sugar Condensed Milk, or was it 60%?, and I bought it repeatedly to prepare a less sugary dulce de leche, which in its inception by the masters in Tarma, Peru, that had the healthiest cows producing an enviable high quality milk they use to make Manjar Blanco, a true delicacy hard to replicate, and I guess dulce de leche is now the name used by all. Takes skills to make a superior one. So when Kreche no sugar added arrived, we opened one immediately, 15.5 oz glass container, very well packaged. I had some Palmiers from Costco, also low in sugar, crispy and always welcome, so I covered one with Kreche. Not too shabby for the low sugar content, and the purchase of four justified in the family’s opinion. On the subject I noticed several brands nowadays competing, I suppose the more competition the better for the consumer, but this one reads beautifully on the nutritional facts, so the good people in our click who shies away from consuming too much sugar can somewhat rejoice. Praise for a company that presents this option, fairly priced, efficiently packaged. Oh Boy, I might have lengthened this review for the sake of clarity? 4.5 Stars.
