Can you use this from a fused switch spur to wire up a shower pump. Does it matter if the cable coming in to the spur is bigger

The incoming cable size if bigger is not an issue, this means its cable of having a bigger load connected. The cable is rated around 6 amps so for safety say 5 amps. Check to rating of the pump if its smaller than 5 amps thats ok. Also make sure the fused spur fuse rating is correct for the pump
