Ok, beware the always-on light
This is a very good quality, well made piece of kit... however, it isn't quite perfect. It is a good design with an in-line fuse provided on the positive wire and the mount is designed to be handlebar mounted, or the user may choose to panel mount using the four holes in the mount with some self-tapping screws, alternatively if a suitable hole is available the device can be dash mounted. Bad points 1) the leads were about 4 inches too short to reach my battery from the handlebars when the cable was routed through the cable guides, under the fuel tank and to the battery compartment (on a Suzuki Bandit 650, not exactly an unusual design. 2) The socket has an always-on LED, presumably to help you use the socket in the dark. This would be fine, but if you connect the device directly to the battery you will suddenly find you have a constant drain on it! I solved these problems by connecting an inline switch on the positive lead and fitting the socket underneath in the space underneath the seat. In the next version, a possible design change might be to add a switch to the device to allow the user to turn the power on and off at the socket... or offer a version without the LED power drain... either would be fine with me.

Reliable OXFORD product
Tried and tested on a trip to Switzerland, over 1000 miles under constant use to charge my phone and headcam. Have used it multiple times since with no issue. Rubber cap fits snug and doesn't appear to let any water in. The included cable had plenty of length for me (T-Spliced the front aux light on my XJ6-S Diversion) but should have no issue reaching from one end of the bike to the other if you need to.
