not 1/2"-----it's a junky rope
I have to give this a 3, it's not 1/2" that's just BS, it's the el cheapo vinyl rope, better to get real rope. but for the price, what do you expect? because of the price, I give it 3.5, so I'll round up to 4. I'm using it for the anchor rope, where I don't expect to use too often.

Could be better
I haven’t tested it’s breaking strength but if it’s as good as they claim I’m happy. It’s cheap for what you get considering the low cost per foot. My only issue is the weave isn’t very tight. Once it’s soaked (and an anchor rode will be) it might unravel and become a sopping dirty mess. I could be wrong. But it works and can’t beat the price.

Bought and threaded through 4 inch black drain line to make a boom across our cove. Water hyacinth is a constant battle. Happy with product and would buy again.

Will use for anchor rope or misalaneous on boat.

Very tough
I have used this rope for lots of heavy work and it has not broken yet. IL am highly pleased.

It's rope just make sure you burn the ends when you cut it, and the metal piece doesn't stay in place

Not up to the job
Definitely not what I was looking for. A much cheaper product than I’ve come accustomed to through Amazon.

Good light duty anchor rope
Bought this for my 1,200 pound boat, should be just fine

Inferior quality
The rope is inferior in quality Some strands are cut or have been woven in to splice in the 100’ length. I am sure it will have a very low breaking strength and as such will not be useable in some applications.
