IF YOU ARE GOING TO PHYSICAL THERAPY, THEN YOUR THERAPIST CAN INSTRUCT YOU AND KEEP YOU IN GOOD FORM. YOU COULD POSSIBLY HURT YOURSELF IF YOU WORKOUT INCORRECTLY. AS FAR AS THE LOWER EXTREMITIES, YOU CAN DO GROSS MOTOR EXERCISES BY HOLDING THESE WEIGHTS TO GET YOUR LEG MUSCLES BY DOING SQUATS, WALKING LUNGES, TOE RAISES, AND MORE. I DONT BELIEVE THAT MANY PEOPLE REALIZE JUST HOW MUCH YOU CAN DO FULL BODY EXERCISES WITH JUST TWO HAND WEIGHTS. Purchased these in hopes that I can build up my arm and shoulder muscle strength from a serious injury 2 years ago from a fall and cracking a rib and 2 vertebrae in the middle of my back that kept me immobile for 3 1/2 months. I've been stretching and exercising my arms and shoulders but resistance training might help me get past the stalling in my recovery. I've started with just the pair of 1 lb. weights to avoid tearing the muscles further. I like that they are small, easy for me to grasp with my fingers that have arthritis and a weak grip. I tried using soup cans but I can't hold them very long because they're just too fat for me to grip and fall out on the floor. I have difficulty in bending over do to breaking my coccyx (tailbone) in a car accident 60 years ago so another good feature of these pink dumbbells is their hexagon shape because they don't roll away when I set them down on the desk or cabinet shelf. No parts, just a rubbery coating that makes it softer to hold on to than bare metal. Versatile in that I can walk around my apartment community with them without losing my balance. Gentle, but daily walks is just what the doctor ordered. I do plan on getting the next weight level once I no longer find these challenging. I will update my review in a year to 5 stars if the thin neoprene coating holds up. That is the only thing that I can see failing eventually, but again, I'm very much a Senior so I expect it will be sufficient for my usage. Price was a good value and I recommend them for those who are beginners, fragile or just old like me. They carry a lot more home exercise equipment for those interested and with more room than I have.

If you’re not a clean person, I wouldn’t recommend the lighter colors. They get dirty fast. Setting them on the floor that holds dust or dirt probably not a good idea. Personally, I say use them on your mat after cleaning the mat. Very durable and worth the money.

So far so great. Quality neoprene, fully covered, great feel in the hand. Solid build, thick grip great for large hands. Very low/no smell - best thing about neoprene. Rack is nice, not cheap - solid. Overall amazing value for money and good quality product.

They sent me the wrong sizes and they came in the wrong colours. The weights themselves are good quality and so is the stand. However the colour on the yellow weights immediately started coming off on my hands and nails. Good weights but not pleased with the service of the company or their commitment to customer service.

These are great weights. I love the colour. Also love the feel of them in my hand. Very comfortable.
