Finally a quick release collar that will stay on my cat!
Nikolai is the master escape artist, both escaping from his collar and getting outdoors. I have never had an outdoor cat before and I didn't intend for Nik to be either. He was a rescue kitty and already accustomed to going outside when I adopted him. Despite my best efforts to keep him inside, he would sneak past the dogs to escape when I was letting them outside. I purchased a crazy expensive electronic pet door that was supposed to let the dogs out and keep Nik inside. Nik figured out that when he heard the door open for the dogs to go out, he could just wait by the door and make his escape when they came back inside. As much as I didn't want him to go outside, he had other plans and found his way outside anyway. He had to have some identification on him for the times when he successfully escaped because I had already had to pick him up from cat jail once and pay a hefty fine . I knew I wanted a quick-release because I have seen disasters when collars get stuck on fences, etc. I had tried other quick-release collars and Nik made short work of them. He appeared to be laughing at me as he removed each one within 30 seconds of me putting it back on him. Even though he was quickly identified by his microchip, part of my cat jail fine was because he had no collar/identification. I searched many reviews and sites and finally settled on this collar. It was an excellent choice as Nik has failed to remove it by himself, yet it is still quick-release just in case he gets himself into a bind coming over a fence or doing whatever he does on his escape adventures. I highly recommend this collar! It is Nik-tested and mother approved!

Don’t buy or watch or check you pet often.
This is a cute collar, but doesn’t pull away easily. I heard my cat gasping/wheezing and I found she had somehow tighten the collar. I’m assuming when scratching it. Thinking it was just a fluke I loosened it and the very next day it was so tight I couldn’t even put a finger in between the collar and her neck. Not a safe buy!

Very poor quality. Breakaway clasp fine, but material is cheap.
My cat has been wearing this collar for less than a month (I purchased it back in June when he was a tiny kitten, and the collar was much too big for him; I didn’t put the collar on him until we moved into the new apartment for law school in the middle of August when he was bigger). After literally just a few weeks, the collar is frayed and warped. As you can see in the photos, it can’t even lay down flat anymore. This is an INDOOR ONLY KITTY! He doesn’t go outside! He’s spoiled and spends most of his time lying on my lap and purring. There is zero reason why this collar should already look so ratty. Not a good choice for anyone that wants their collar to last more than a month :(

I wasn't terribly worried about that as it's just a cosmetic issue
I bought this collar roughly a month or two ago. It has managed to stay on, even through a vet visit that required an E collar she managed to remove. Within a few weeks weeks of using this collar, however, my cat managed to fray the fibers from scratching. I wasn't terribly worried about that as it's just a cosmetic issue, but I also noticed the other day that the collar had tightened significantly and was nearly choking my baby girl. I've seen other reviews with similar complaints. Since then I've been checking her collar several times a day to make sure it isn't too tight. This collar is fine if you want something cheap, but be warned that it comes with some downsides.

Works well
This collar works great! I just adopted a new kitten and he was always getting out of the first collar I put on him, which had a buckle clasp. This one has a clasp that clicks together. In order to get it off, you just have to pull with some force. He has not been able to pull it off himself, but if he did get wrapped on something, the collar would come off and not choke him. It is easily adjustable. I had to tighten it a bit since he is so small. There is also a bell, which I like because I can never find him sometimes! If you don't want a bell, you can easily take it off. The only flaw I can find is that it frays pretty easily when my cat scratches it. It's starting to become a little fuzzy after about 2 weeks of wearing it.

Good but not for my cats (wacky cats)
I think the collars are a nice orange, and the snap works well. However, both cats have made them look really furry by scratching while wearing them, and both cats also tightened the collars to a point that they needed to be removed and readjusted. I was not expecting this, but not entirely sure it is an issue with the collars, or I just have wacky cats. I am going to lean towards a mix of the two.All in all, the collars were a good price and nice, and unless you have a cat that is used to wearing a collar and wont 'go to town' on it, it should be a great choice.

Perfect for My Convict Kitty
My cat has recently become very sneaky and darts outside and then run in circles around the house if you try to chase him. I bought him this collar in bright orange so that if anybody sees him they know he is a Convict Kitty and supposed to be indoors (check out the Kitty Convict Project).Unfortunately, he is sooo fluffy that you can't really see the collar unless you move his fur, but I still like it. The bell is small so it doesn't both him but I still hear where he is, and the orange is very bright. I like that he hasn't been able to remove it just by scratching his neck, as he has been able to with other quick release collars, but it still comes off if he gets snagged on something. Also the fishy clasp is just too adorable!

DO NOT BUY - BREAKAWAY DOES NOT WORK
I woke up this morning to find my 6 month old kitten with this collar in awkwardly in his mouth and his jaw trapped open in a very unsafe way. I specifically bought this "Breakaway" collar because I wanted to avoid this exact situation. I put the collar on him before going to bed last night, so he was trapped like this for over 8 hours without being able to drink or eat, and very scared & uncomfortable. Thankfully I was able to remove the collar and his jaw/teeth seem to be okay - but you can imagine how conformtable and traumatizing it was for him. DO NOT BUY THIS COLLAR. The breakaway feature DOES NOT WORK and this product is NOT SAFE for cats.

¡CUIDADO, EL BROCHE NO ES SEGURO!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. NO LO RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO, no arriesgues a tus mascotas.

My cat got her lower jaw stuck in this collar
The product itself is absolutely lovely, bought a couple different designs including this plain one for my cat. She had this one on for a little over a month now, unfortunately due to her scratching (as cats do) and just general wear it got a little pulled, not necessarily blaming the product here just to clarify. This wasn’t an issue as it still functioned fine etc, until today. I was cooking and she was giving herself a wash and sitting next to me when I noticed her jaw pulled down/stuck,she started to freak out...at first I was a little confused but I quickly realised that she had gotten her bottom jaw stuck in the collar while cleaning! This horrified me and I rushed over, thankfully she freed herself (somehow). I just would hate to think that this could have happened while I was out and she was alone, or she had been on the kitchen floor. Immediately removed the collar after this. I would in theory recommend the product for being well made but for the fact of what I just witnessed I simply would avoid it.

Cute and comfy
I love these bright orange cat collars, I bought 2 for my cats. The quality is great and they are soft enough not to bug my old cranky cats. The bell is a little loud but could be removed I guess. My black cat looks particularly gorgeous in it. Plus there is a campaign on social media encouraging owners to put orange collars on house cats so they are easily spotted as 'escaped convicts' and I'm hoping this will aid them should they ever get lost.Update. They have now started to fray.

Lovely when new but they soon fray.
Thought these collars were a little bit pricey....more than I would normally pay, so I was hoping for a good long lasting quality collar. They looked great on arrival. Lovely soft pink colour. Easy to alter the length, a sweet pink bell and a fish shaped clasp that undoes easily for safety. My cats have been wearing them now for a few weeks and the collar has now frayed and gone all fluffy which doesn't look great. They are still wearable but looks shabby. I guess this is due to my cats scratching their necks. I wouldn't buy these again.

Good collar, good safety release
I like these as they're soft for my cat to wear - he had a reaction to his first elastic collar and went bald around his neck. With this collar, his fur has grown back - phew!!He's lost two of these collars in six months, but I'm ok with that as it means the do come off if he gets caught.
