Nice coffee, half the price.
We like our little Lavazza A Mondo Mio machine a lot. We started with the genuine Lavazza pods but at the price we then shopped around. This coffee is different but no less enjoyable to our tastes and will make both an enjoyable espresso or a longer Americano style in a 250ml mug with a decent shot of milk. We buy both these and the red Intenso pods on bi-monthly subscription and use both according to mood. Very good.

Better than instant coffee.
The headline should say it all really.Reviewing the 'Top Arabica Taste' (purple ones)Are these as good as the Lavazza branded ones...not quite, but close (perhaps a little more bitter than Lavazza).Are they considerably cheaper than the Lavazza branded ones? YES.Overall does this make them better value for money? Very much yes.I like coffee. I'm mostly a Latte/Cappuccino person. I'm not into describing all the "notes and tones" of a coffee, but I can tell you when coffee tastes "cheap" and this doesn't taste cheap. In my Desea machine, these pods produce coffee that has a taste and texture that's considerably better than instant coffee and that's a win for me.As for the pods themselves, they're either slightly fuller, or have a little more air in them than Lavazza. Wish the compostable one's were cheaper, but hey ho, saving the planet costs more money I guess.Overall I would highly recommend these as a solid, better value coffee pod.

A worthy replacement
A worthy replacement and a lot cheaper. You get a nice roast, crema on top is decent and thick. A slight liquorice aftertaste which I also get in the red Lavazza pods. So overall, more than happy.
