Fluorescents vs. LED shop lights--a direct comparison.
For the last 25 years I've used three fluorescent shop lights in my garage. My old fluorescent fixtures use two standard four-foot 40 watt (240 watt total) bulbs in a metal shade. But I've gotten fed up with bulbs flickering, burning out or needing twisting and tapping to turn on.I decided to upgrade with this three-pack of 40 watt (120 watt total) LED shop lights. A few observations:1. The LED lights are brighter than the fluorescent fixtures and use half the power.2. The LED shop lights are MUCH lighter weight than the fluorescent fixtures making them easier to hang and puts less strain on the ceiling and hooks.3. The LED tubes are the same length but slightly smaller in diameter (shrug). I suggest getting the frosted version as opposed to the eye-searing LED pinpoints in the clear version.4. I bought the 4000 degree Kelvin shop lights which closely match my old fluorescents. Some might prefer the daylight version, though the blue-white light might be a shock. If you do painting or other color-critical work in your garage, though, the daylight version might be just the ticket.5. The LED fixtures use a heavy-duty five-foot two-prong cord. I control my lights from a wall switch, but the smoothly-operating pull chains work fine. The LED shop lights were delivered in three days on Amazon Prime in perfect condition. The package contained all the simple hardware (chains and hooks) and I swapped out the lighting systems in less than an hour. This is a solid five star product! If I ever have a problem, I'll update this review immediately.

Light, easy to install, super bright white light (5k)
Absolutely love these lights. I wired 5 of these up in my 2 car garage. I cut the plugs and wired them to a switched circuit very easily. The 5K light is super bright and very clear white light, excellent for brightening up the entire area and making it easier to work on the toys. 2nd picture is at night with only 4 of the lights on to see how much light they throw and their spread.

These work great as grow lights.
We used these lights as grow lights for starting tomatoes. They had the right range of kelvins and lumens according to the research we'd done. And they were cheaper than other lights being advertised for this purpose. They worked out perfectly. We suspended them over the seed trays with dog chains and adjusted the height as the plants grew. We started about 90 plants (not knowing how successful we were going to be) and ended with 87 huge beautiful plants! We started with two lights but bought an additional two when we potted into larger containers about a month before planting outdoors. With a couple weeks of almost daily conditioning they transitioned to regular day light no problem. After this I even started some marigolds and zinnias indoors for the fun of it and was also met with success. I can't wait to try some indoor winter gardening with these things.

The outer cardboard box (from Amazon) was fine, but the actual box the contained the fixture ...
Fixture is bright . It arrived damaged (the metal was bent a little bit) but still functional. The outer cardboard box (from Amazon) was fine, but the actual box the contained the fixture was damaged! How could that have happened?I can't figure out how to change the bulbs (if I ever need to). Appears to be a sealed system. That was a surprise to me.Also, the metal frame did not have any holes drilled for the included S hooks. The S hooks and chains were provided, but I had to drill my own holes in the metal frame. That was very strange.

They need to inspect the hardware packing.
Update to the review I originally scored it lower because they did not provide in one of the lights the eye hooks for the ceiling. With in 24 hours after my original review they gave me a partial refund this is a sign of a good company that once to keep customers happy. I highly recommend them. The lights are bright and work great. The only down fall is I can see the mess in my garage better.

Road Kill
So for the price and the performance this one was going to be great for my plants. It is great now. But when i got it. It really looked a truck drove over it. It was looking like I bought a bow and not a lightstip lol. So I was pretty annoyed due to ordering a light strip you might think they would ship it a tad better due to it being you know fragile. But it just came in the box that just barely covered the lightstrip.I did reach out to them and asked for some kind of return. For a full return they wanted me to ship it back which for this size of thing just wasn't something i was up for. Then they offered me a partial refund of 20% and like a gift card for 10$.I went with the 10$.My opinion is that its a good product for a good price. The shipping was downright terrible!!! And I wish when delivered in this state that they would offer a refund without need to send it back!!Thus the rating of 2 stars. But worth a shot I guess.

A rare (for me) 5 star !
I tried to think of something I could mark them down on &........ I couldn't think of a thing ! The pull chains work smoothly, they are light weight, & nice & bright without being glarey. The pull chains could be longer but that's more a function of your ceiling height & easily corrected. The only unknown is (since the bulbs are not replaceable) how long they last. Time will tell.

Nice light, but not as efficient as others
It's a good light (I got the 4000K frosted). Like someone said, it doesn't flush mount--it does have the keyhole slots for it, but one set faces the wrong way to be used for flush mounting. Too bad (I wanted flush mount and it wouldn't been simple for them to make it that way). I measured the power it consumed and it's 43 watts, not 40 like they said. Many lights in this category are 100 lumens/W, including the other (shorter) one I also purchased (different manufacturer), but, it's close.
