ART DualZDirect Dual Professional Passive Direct Box

DI works great, but there are too many buttons. I always find this with a button erroneously pressed when someone had just picked it up. If you are diligent to check the buttons, you’ll love this DI.

wouldn't buy for a keyboard, there is no audible difference. not in quality of sound, level or anything. for acoustic guitar? this DI box sounds louder in a pleasant way, much more detail, clarity, fullness and tone. coming from a amateur home studio recordist and we use this in a small church setting. ab tested this with cheaper DI boxes we have lying around, this is worth every penny, like taking a blanket off of the guitar.

Economical, sounds good, nice size. I'm using it for a stereo send from electronic drums, keyboards, etc., so I don't know how the cross talk would be for 2 discrete signals, but it sure makes setups neater and easier than grabbing 2 boxes and stacking them together, etc.

Great DI for running tracks and IEM. Worth the price!

Built very well. I like the rubber armor on what could be sharp edges. This box will not slip and slide on a stage. There is a very small amount of crosstalk between channels (order of -100dB?). You won't hear it but at the really high preamp gain levels needed for guitars with passive pickups, you might see it on your level meters. Absolutely not an issue for live sound (our use). For studio recording I would use single channel interfaces, possibly with dedicated preamps. There are a lot of buttons to select pad levels, ground lift, etc. We don't use any of them because we go from this box into a mixer with highly configurable preamp gain. So I can't comment on how well these bonus features work.

Avevo bisogno di realizzare un video con audio proveniente da un microfono a condensatore da studio collegato ad un compressore. Quindi l'ho comprato per mandare l'uscita del mixer dentro al jack dell'ingresso microfonico di una fotocamera Canon tramite il cavetto di riduzione. Dalle prime prove sembra tutto perfetto. I tasti di attenuazione sono molto comodi per poter lasciare il mixer con la regolazione che tengo di solito senza doverlo abbassare troppo. Comunque anche senza attenuazione l'uscita del mixer è gestibilissima senza distorsioni o saturazioni di sorta.

Megusto mucho. Facil de usa suena agradable.

Impressive build quality and features, allows me to either split one electric guitar signal in two and route both into a mixer for recording, or live put an acoustic and an electric guitar amp's emulated out into a PA. I'd recommend if you are thinking of buying a DI box to watch one of the many helpful videos on youtube first, just to see how useful these bits of kit are. Of all the product options on offer this came out on top. Compared to my mate's Behringer DI this is much better and does a few things more.

Melhor directbox que já usei até hoje. E ele tem vários controles, inverte fase, atenua o sinal, tem o GND

I liked the first one so much I bought a second. You can pay much more for a DI, but this does the job, is sturdy and roadworthy, and is one of the best bargains out there!!
