Really high quality item. The packaging, accessories and torch all have a premium feel to them. I was a little fed up of buying cheap LED torches that break within months, and lose power quickly. As with most items I buy, I decided to do some research and purchase a long-term item. LedLenser was frequently mentioned in reviews as one of the best brands in UK. I liked the look of their range, and website and so decided this was the brand for me! As for the model, there were quite a few to choose from! I opted for the P7R as it was incredibly well reviewed, and also quite compact. I bought this item on offer at £57, which I feel offered good value. My advice would be to buy at a similar price rather than buying lower spec models like the P7 (also a decent torch) Inside the box you get a wall-mount for the torch which is a nice touch. This can be linked to the charger, which is magnetic, so you always know where your torch is and that it'll be charged fully! The magnetic hold from the charger feels nice and strong, and secures the torch nicely. If i had a criticism of the P7R it'd be in this area. The cables supplied only support USB charging - so you'd need to wall mount near a USB socket, or use some form of adaptor (which I always worry about doing due to voltages). The torch itself is great, feels like a solid metal construction, but the weight is fair. I'd say less than 250g. I have medium sized (male) hands and this fits nicely. The 1000 lumens stated is hard to test but I can confirm it has a great brightness, and when using the focus feature on the torch (basically push the top of torch forward with your fingers to focus the beam angles) the reach of this is substantial, bright and satisfying. So much so that after walking back from pub with my Uncle and a friend I found they'd both purchased the same item the next day because it was so much better than what they were used to. Like most Li-ion driven items the battery lasts ages with moderate usage, the P7R uses 1x rechargeable 18650 battery, this also has IPX4 protection - which should guard it from damage in the rain. The torch has 3x power modes low, mid and "power" - it'll also automatically set to a low beam if battery is very low, just enough light to get you home in the dark!! The package also includes a wrist-strap, 3M stickies for wall mounting and a torch pouch so you could attach this to your belt. All fitter into a nice, quality Ledlenser box. All in all a very solid buy. If you can get it on sale like I did, I think it offers good value. This is backed up by their (Ledlenser) 7 year guarantee on this item. (I think is 5 years if you don't register). That timeframe should buy you some assurances that spending the extra cash on a quality item is worth the cash outlay long-term (I used to just buy new LED cheapo torches and throw away when inevitably broke - incredibly wasteful). 5*'s from me.

This is a brilliant (forgive the pun) compact, super bright torch. The three power levels are well thought out and there are none of the pointless and really annoying flashing modes all the cheap torches have. The floating charging system works well although one thing thats not made clear is no charger is supplied just the wall mounting bracket and the magnetic connector lead (can be used in or out of the bracket) that terminates in a standard USB connector, so no real drama if you have a spare USB charger. My only niggle is that it doesn’t power on in the power mode you turned it off in although you can programme it to start at the brightest or dimmest setting and there are only 3 options its not a huge problem but I would have thought when paying this much it wouldn’t be too much to ask to have it turn back on in the power mode you turned it off in.

Not cheap at nearly £60, but an excellent all-around torch. Highly recommended

P7 2017 Gen 1 is presumably no longer made but still a great little pocket torch. I like the very narrow tight 1000lm beam and the ability to pinpoint objects some distance away without the light spreading wider. The wide beam has a sharply defined edge, which I also like. I also have a Ledlenser P7R Pro which goes up to 2000lm but only for 10 seconds at a time and with more light spread on narrow beam and virtually no edge on wide beam. The P7 2017 Gen 1 has no battery indicator and less convenient control of the light setting than the P7R Pro but in some ways I prefer it, mainly because of the sharp beam definition. Also half-price at £59.00. I have a Ledlenser MT14 as well, again a brilliant torch but slightly bigger. The narrow beam doesn't match the narrowness of the P7R 2017 Gen 1.

I made the mistake of previously buying a cheap Chinese copy torch with a fake cree chip before buying this - what a difference in light, and quality. OK you pay more for the real thing, and many people can't even tell the difference - until you see the light beams side by side - but this torch is fabulous. Clear, bright light with no quare shadow in the middle of the beam, very easy to recharge, classic design and sturdy. My only niggle is the on-off button at the end - if you've got longish fingernails, it's hard to operate and is badly designed as you have to press it a way in and this can't be don't with long nails. The engineers/designers were obviously men!

I work in law enforcement and this is one bright torch! Slim fitting, has a pouch I can put on my belt, long lasting charge, easy to use.

The most powerful torch ever! I was excited to have ordered this torch, and a little scared as it cost so much. But as an electricain who is more often than not working in the dark a good torch is essential. So when I came across this one, I just had to have it. The rechargeable battery was a big selling point, and it does last a long time. Its easy to charge, and the holster is made really well and can / will stand up to most things. I will highly recommend this product.

Essendo un prodotto LedLenser parte già in vantaggio,ma devo dire che non mi aspettavo una potenza luminosa così elevata;al livello massimo sembra di avere un faro alogeno da nave in mano,al livello medio è una potente torcia per illuminare anche i particolari,al livello basso la luce è già sufficiente per gli usi "domestici".Molto comodo il sistema magnetico per la ricarica(magnete potente,si attacca alla base della torcia con vigore..),leggermente meno comodo il pulsante posteriore di comando,si deve spingerlo parecchio in dentro e (come aveva già detto un altro utente)con i guanti potrebbe essere poco funzionale.Al di là di ciò,una torcia di qualità:ottimi materiali,buon sistema di gestione elettronico delle funzioni luminose,sistema di "zoom" LedLenser sempre eccellente,dotazione di serie buona,resistente come si desidererebbe. Un prodotto un pò più costoso di altre concorrenti,ma credo che quel poco in più sia giustificato dal livello qualitativo.Secondo me molto idonea per chi ne potrebbe fare un uso anche gravoso.

Ürün oldukça kaliteli Işık gücüne söylecek söz yok. Uzun mesafe odak özelliği olmaması sebebiyle iade etmek zorunda kaldım. Geniş alanı aydınlatma ihtiyacı olan için yeterli olacağı kanaatindeyim.
