Suction doesn't hold up
The shelf appears to be of good quality and it looks great, but the suction option, which is why I purchased this item, is poor. I followed the instructions included as directed, but the suction cups did not hold the shelf in place after it was installed for only one hour.

hard to get into place with the suction cups but if you do - it's good.
Oh boy, where do I even start with this stainless steel corner shower basket? It's truly a work of art. I mean, who doesn't love a piece of metal hanging out in the corner of their shower, am I right?First of all, I absolutely adore how it's made of stainless steel. Because nothing screams luxury like a cold, hard metal basket filled with your shampoo and soap. And let's not forget the joy of accidentally bumping your elbow or shoulder into it during your morning shower. It's like a spa experience, but better. And the design? Simply stunning. I love how it's perfectly shaped to fit in the corner of my shower, because who needs that extra space for stretching or moving around anyway? Plus, it's so sleek and modern-looking that I'm pretty sure I saw it on the runway at New York Fashion Week.So in conclusion, if you're in the market for a shower basket that will add a touch of class to your daily routine while simultaneously cramping your shower space and taking a lot of time scratching your head as you try to get the suction cups working, look no further than this stainless steel corner shower basket. It's a true gem.

Tried my best to use the suction cups, but....
This is a nice hefty metal wire rack which comes with the option of attaching it to a smooth surface with the suction cups or with adhesive strips. After following the instructions of cleaning the tile surface and the suction pads with household cleaner and drying thoroughly I attached the rack, only to have it fall off with only the weight of one shampoo bottle. A second try yielded the same results. Frustrated with suction cups I decided to go the adhesive route. I applied the adhesive strips to the tile surface and allowed the glue to cure overnight before attaching the rack. This seems to have worked and so far it is holding tight with the weight of two shampoo bottles and a bar of soap. I love the added storage space in the shower and the rack itself is heavy duty and apparently rust proof which is a good thing. Hopefully the adhesive holds. Power Grip Rack: 5 stars. Power Grip Suction Cups: 1 star

Shower basket
I got this because the little shelf molded into my shower stall just isn’t quite wide enough to hold a large bottle of shampoo or something, so this seems like the right idea since it had the rail to hold things in place and not fall every time I get in the shower. If you have a slightly textured, molded shower, surround in your stall, the suction cups will not grip this they continue to fall off …you will need to use. The included stick on pads with the screw insertion to hold under the shelf. I found this out the hard way, and now with the sticky pad adapters, it’s holding onto the wall very well. The suction cups would work well on a tile wall but if it has the slightest bit of texture to it, the suction cups just can’t hold on as they leak around the edges from the texture. Once installed, it does its job very well, and will hold three or four big bottles of shampoo, and has a separate little cup that sits into it. And separate your bar soap from just lying around in the tray. It also has four prongs that stick up two on either end, that you can hang your wash cloths from.

Nice basket
This basket is very attractive and the way it is configured is thoughtfully designed. It comes with two ways to attach, the first being a suction device.I tried it this way doing everything the instructions said. I cleaned the surface and the suction cups themselves and let it all dry. I had the suction cups loosely tightened and then pressed them into the wall where I turned the knob to make the suction happen. It just did not work, not because of the basket device, but because the wall surface has to be completely flat. My wall is a tile that has some slight indents and other roughness. I had not realized that this would be a problem, but those little gaps keep the suction from functioning. I did adhere the basket to the side of my sink, so I can attest to their power if your surface is totally smooth and flat.I will try again with the adhesive strips so I can have this basket exactly where I want it. I appreciate they have specific instructions on how to do this as well.

Big shower basket with great grip
If you have the right type of walls in your shower, the suction mounting on this basket works wonderfully. I put this in a bathroom with smooth surface tile, and cleaned the walls where the suction cups would go first. It's a nice design how the cups can slide side to side to avoid grout lines and get each cup needs to be located to work. The basket itself has a couple bent openings in it to easily hold the cap of a bottle of shampoo with a round cap upside down as you approach the end of a bottle. At the point I'm writing this review, I've had the basket installed for about a month. Due to its nice large size, I've got five shampoo and conditioner bottles in it, so certainly a good test for the amount of weight it can hold. Even with trying to wiggle the basket around after a month, it is completely solid with its attachment to the wall. Definitely no complaints with this at all.
