Practical advice, highlighting the importance of psychological tools
Summary of my impression:We often miss the point, that sports displays a great area to learn from. We might think it is domain specific, but many of the tools utilized by great athlethes can be incorporated into our daily lifes, to reduce stress and increase our satisfaction in the long term. This book lays out a path for reaching any goal which will fulfill us and offers psychological methods which in the end determine if we reach it.Who should read it?Everyone. Everyone pursues some kind of objective or goal in his or her life and we often discount the importance of psychological mindsets which would be beneficial when applied. The book mostly refers to the sports world, but all the principles and mindsets can be applied in other domains, such as education, work, family and in general how we approach our day to day activities. I read other books, which gave advice regarding goals, but I have to say, that this is really written in a comprehensible way, with clear actions that can be incorporated into daily life.

A Teachable Skill Set That We Needed
I gave this book five stars, because it is so well written and provides a skill set that is teachable and learnable for all. Our culture doesn’t value what this book teaches. However, it values watching athletes win without any clue how they succeed. It truly can change your life, if you learn and use these skills and habits and apply them to all areas of your life. This book has the tools you need to know to succeed, including developing self discipline. Read this book!

I’m reading this book for a second time which I rarely if ever do. The information in this is helping me as an athlete as wel as my daily life.
