I really like the fact that this product has a good amount of SPF. It goes on smoothly, non drying, stays all day (I always use a primer). Not cakey. Perfect consistency I actually bought it by accident I didn't see that it is their Teint Idole Ultra Wear "care & glow" . It is pricey, but a little goes a long way. My other version of this lasted a long time. You can do a second application in areas if needed and it does not look blotchy or dry. My only mistake was I bought one shade too dark. If in doubt go with a lighter shade.

If you are skeptical about buying a foundation sight unseen online, I AM YOU. I was taking a huge risk buying this without being sure of the color match - I am extremely fair... like pastey white to a point where my coworkers call me a vampire... but I am Italian & I still have a yellow or gold undertone to my skin (my veins look green). I typically choose the lightest colors of foundation & was thrilled that Lancome had a super fair shade with yellow undertones (not peach or orange). When I received the bottle, I was skeptical. The shade looked like it might be too dark still, which has happened to me before, & it almost had a beige tone in the bottle. It was non returnable so I figured I would give it a try on a day I wasn't doing anything special. WOW - am I glad I did! I couldn't tell where it ended on my neck as I applied it! The color was perfect! The foundation is also extremely lightweight but medium to full coverage - it went smoothly over any imperfections. It did not oxidize or dry down to a weird color - it stayed perfect all day & I work almost 10 hour days. I am so happy with this purchase! Absolutely take the chance & buy it! Also, the Lancome Lash Idole mascara is a dream too! For reference, my former foundation colors were NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia or MAC Studio Fix in NC5. I purchased this Lancome Teinte Idole in 105W.

Used to love this product. The color was a perfect match with my skin tone, but since Lancôme changed their color system (again!), I can’t get the precision color anymore. Lancôme makeup is entirely too expensive to keep trying out their new shade system to match my old numbers. Being disabled, going to the mall to personally find the correct shade isn’t an easy option. Lancôme, leave your coloring system alone! You had it right to begin with!

I expressed my concern over the expiration date when purchasing. Since the product lasts me beyond 4 months I requested that the expiration date be beyond 6 months. When I received it, the color looked darker. Since I have used Lancôme for many, many years I was very familiar with the bottle and the expiration date on the bottle. The real expiration date on this bottle looked suspicious like it had a new covered label glued over the original expiration bottle. I removed it and look what I found! As far as I’m concerned this is fraud. It expires the month I receive it. The sunscreen is not as effective. This is not like Lancôme!

I have used Lancome foundation for about ten years and have never been disappointed. It is a bit difficult to get the perfect color match when ordering online. If you buy it in a store where the clerk can use a tester to find your best color, then order that online thereafter.

...in my humble opinion. I've used Lancome Teint Idol for over twenty years and no other foundation has come close to it. With the right color, it blends well with the skin, covers pores and feels very moisturizing without feeling heavy. My top pick!
