More versatile than the standard types of waste trap
Working in a very confined space where it was nigh on impossible to fit the usual compression fit traps. This has worked an absolute treat on two installations I've completed. If it blocks, simply undo the coupling between the sink waste and the flexi tube and tip into a bucket.

Great Flexibility
This was great to use as I needed to have a step change in pipe size. This was perfect for the job. If you wanted the 50mm fitting then you don't have to saw just fit it. To get to the 40mm pipe fitting size it was simple to saw through. The quality of the product is what you would expect, pretty standard. The flexible section seemed well made and fairly easy to manipulate into the right shape and position while not being flimsy. Used it for a while and it is working well, no leaks and no blockages.

Wrong size thread and nut.
Advertised to fit 1 1/2 inch 40mm thread.Is 1 3/4 inch 45 mm. otherwise looks a good product.

Not as pictured
Came with 1.5" BSP thread which is correct (1.5" BSP is actually closer to 1.75" because the 1.5" represents the inside diameter of a 1.5" pipe) was also only 40mm and the plastic clip pictured was not included..

Decent quality

Not well made
Waste trap came without a washer/gasket to go between fitting and basin waste. It does not have spigot to locate washer so washer moves when tightening the waste pipe and it leaks. HAD TO USE ptfe tape and silicon to stop it leaking. Poor design would not recommend
