MOPEI 40 cm Skimming BladeThere is no doubt about it, this is certainly a well made, heavy duty skimming blade. I ordered the smaller 40cm blade as I don't really have a use for the larger sizes. The main body of this is made from heavy gauge aluminium which has a golden finish to it. The ends are capped with nylon inserts which seem to be secure, they feel as if they are bonded in, but I can't be 100% sure of this. The blade itself is made from stainless steel so will not corrode over time, the blade is quite thin and flexible which is important when skimming with this.I did previously have a similar skimming blade, that was made from tough nylon with a fixed blade which did work ok. But over time the blade edge has become uneven and ragged, so this stainless steel blade will be far more durable.Overall I am very pleased with this, it is built to last and will work well in a professional environment.CONTENTS:1 x Skimming Blade1 x BladeThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

I like the flexibility of the blade to allow a nice and smooth coat to be put on the drywallThis can be quite valuable in an older house that may have had plaster/lath with the edges of the studs not as aligned as anyone would wish for.The weight of the tool is not too much at all, and after a little while, you can get the feel of how it will lay the joint compound down.Having a very light aluminum construction makes it a tool worth having if you are doing larger areas.It is not necessarily a tool that you need for doing small patches.

Le prix de cette lame me paraissait très correct comparé à d’autres qui sont un peu chère. Par contre elle est arrivée abîmée par endroits, ce qui laisse penser qu’elle n’est pas neuve et a déjà été utilisée. Ce n’est pas très sérieux ou alors il fallait l’indiquer dans l’annonce ou la vendre comme une occasion.
