Troentorp Clogs, Picasso Bastad Slip On Steel Toe Non Slip Womens Leather Wooden Nursing Chef Work Swedish Clogs

I had another style of Troentorps years ago, but I always envied my friend's funkier Picassos. I have now tried them in two sizes and alas, they're just not for my feet. I have narrow heels & long, "low volume" feet so I always have to put inserts in shoes to fill space. No problem. I tried 4 different inserts and sock combos - from flat, to thick heels/flat toe box and nothing works. My feet slide forward and toes jam into the (steel!) toebox, or my heel is basically out of the clog altogether. For reference, I'm between a 39 & 40 (with insert) in Sanita/Dansko, and tried 39 and 40 with these.I also had to wonder if I got seconds. These arrived in a plain, unbranded box, and there are holes drilled into the wood insoles (see picture). I'm not sure if that's how they're manufactured, or if it indicates something.Anyway, they're going back, and I'm going back to Sanita. I just wish there were more options for narrow feet!

It took a solid six months of wearing these to get used to them. It sucked. But after I adjusted, I would not wear anything but these to work! Never have back pain, my feet NEVER hurt at the end of the day, even when I've been standing for 12 hours straight. They're wonderful. But you literally have to learn how to stand and walk differently. But once you do, you'll never look back. I'm on my third pair. They last around two and a half years with heavy wear.

Shoe was for work 12 hour shifts. Very good quality but extremely narrow. Could not even get my feet inside shoes. I returned the shoes and will size up like I did last time. I only give 3 stars because sizing is way off. I have one which I have been wearing for over a year and the shoes cannot be done. It’s big because I had to size up. Due to it being so narrow. It is a nice looking shoe and I get many compliments and gave many referrals. That’s my old pair. I will continue to purchase but wish I didn’t have to go up to a size 44 just so my feet can get in the shoe.

I’ve been trying to decide who I should leave these excellent clogs to, after I’m gone. So sturdy, I know they will “out live” me. They remind me of a well-cared for cast iron skillet. They’re elegant, highly functional and long lasting. The nails that hold the leather upper to the wooden shoe bed are a statement element of the design, and set these clogs apart. Edgy, functional and sturdy as all get-out, they are worth the extra cost, because, = legacy clogs. Gotta love that. The black leather is glossy but not shiny, and of high quality. They polish up nicely. The shape is a little different, a little nerdy and slyly fashionista. I like them a lot. I ordered them a half step larger, and they’re perfect for winter socks. No regrets on this purchase.

I really like the look very nice but your feet tent to slip off the shoe because the back is a bit too low or wide o not snug And very overprice very hard in the inside have no padding or soft support it hurt the feet

I bought the 7.5 on the suggestion (I wear sz 7-7.5) it would be helpful for a wider fit. Yes wider. The heel is suppose to move but not be able to kick the shoe off. My bones are too small for a larger size for any reason and my foot slipped down and toes hit the tip.They are more attractive than expected. I need the steel toe but would have liked the Van Gogh in brown. Exchanged for sz 37.

I really liked these shoes but had to return because I was an "in between" size. No hassle return and refund.

Very roomy, easy to slip on and off. I wouldn't recommend for all day, every day use comfort-wise, but they are great for my occasional use.
