Buy With Confidence.
Great value genuine tac flashlight. Compact, powerful and the strobe function is a reassuring function for when out in the dark. Well made and durable I have purchased another two to give as presents. Batteries are available from Amazon if you have no local electrical retailers.

Tactical? Tick!
VERY TACTICAL and classy. Respectable lumen count without being vulgar. Sassy tactical 12 flash per second 'flash bang' stun mode. Would recommend to the tactically minded civilian for every minute of every waking day use.

Quality Torch
Nice size, good weight, bright beam, would prefer it if the beam could be more focussed. At night it is very bright. Good price, better than any shop
User
its bright and small
happy with this, very bright and small enough to stick in your pocket , just dont try to buy the CR123 cells from the highstreet as they're incredibly expensive , £8 for 2 in Boots or £8 for 8 (same brand) from the net

Fantastic
Best torch ever

MAGTASTIC
Very powerful torch for it's size, used to own the old D cell Mac Light but this is better and lighter.

Battery life is really poor
I don't write many reviews. I came to write this one due to the terrible battery life but having looked at the packaging again now I see it says "4 hours" I doubt I got anywhere near that, but even if I did thats still surely terrible in the world of led bulbs? the torch gets quite warm while in use which isn't going to help battery life. Anyhow I've just spent 14 euros on 2 replacement batteries.

This one's a keeper.
This light is exactly what I needed. I have no complaints about the plastic lens because I have never broken a MagLite lens. The momentary on for this light is perfect and is exactly what I needed to be able to signal for work (Military). I have had difficulty finding a new light that still had a momentary on option that was usable. This one works perfectly and if you click is twice very fast than the light will stay on. The momentary on is the default setting, which is great because it prevents it from being clicked on and staying on while in a bag or being worn. It also allowed me to signal well. Three fast clicks gets me the strobe feature which is done well. The batteries last at least as long as advertised and the light stays just as bright almost right up until the batteries die. The new version of the Inova lights and Streamlights lose a lot of their brightness as the battery life progresses. The MagTac survived going on an exercise with me and is now a permanent part of my kit. The plastic clip is preferred because it will not bend by accident. I tried applying some force to this one and it seems quite strong. I also stops the light from rolling when placed on a flat surface. This light doesn't disappoint me on any level. Brighter, lasts longer, and built better than the other mainstream competition. I don't like some of the no-name brands that offer brighter lights because I find that I can't depend on them and they are not made very well. I exposed this one to rain and freezing rain for almost a week straight without any difficulties. I'm glad I bought this light.

Good value for a work flashlight
The Mag-Tac is a powerful and tough flashlight in a small package. I carried one of these in a pouch as a USAF vehicle mechanic for years. This light survived a deployment with constant sandstorms and monsoons, I luckily packed enough 123 batteries off the jump because the BX did not stock them. I love the controls; one tap is momentary, two taps is constant and three is strobe. These settings prevent the light from coming on if you bump or roll on it. The flashlight is quite lightweight and will not fatigue you or get caught on stuff as you use it. This 123 battery version comes in a variety of colors such as green, black, tan and grey. The plastic clip can be broken if you really try, it’s not likely though. The clip uses a small Torx wrench to install, not a tough process. I actually ripped up a few of the Mag-Lite brand sheathes for this light, just too many rocks and sand. Get the Spec Ops Brand light sheath, much better durability and the light fits great. I wove a paracord tail onto my Mag-Tac so I can draw out of the sheath quicker, and grab it if my oily hands slip. The tail cap switch is an excellent design, more lights should use them. This switch allows one to hold the light in a quick to point manner, which is great for scanning underneath a car or peeking into a dark tent. I haven’t met anyone else that has a Mag-Tac, truly a slept on flashlight.
