This is the second EC Technology portable battery storage, and neither have let me down. I see that there are a few companies who use the excavator same battery storage, but I’m very happy with EC Technology, so I’ll stick with them.Yes it does take several hours to fully charge, but that’s because it has a large storage capacity. The battery last for a long time and you don’t need to worry about what USB socket should I use for some devices, as the battery works that out for you! You can plug your phone in or a USB fan and they will charge whilst your using your devices.There’s not much to really say other than it does what it says it does, it works well, last long and it’s tough and durable

Thought compelled to review this item, I found some of the reviews rather puzzling, not sure what people expect.The main requirement was to keep iPads & phones running for extended video calls to friends, family & online courses without having mains leads trailing everywhere. It's fine - keeps whatever device, sometimes 2 running simultaneously for calls lasting a couple of hours and the iPad/phone or whatever is still 100% at the end.I'd probably take it travelling (if we ever get to do that again).A mains charge to the unit will charge devices 3 or 4 times before you have to mains charge again. Useful little light on the unit so you can see to plug USBs in, I'm pretty sure it's not really intended to be used as a torch but I guess you could in an emergency.So far, good value for money

The 1 usb port broke within a year another not far behind it and today the whole thing wouldn’t switch on.

Bought 2 of these for using around Disneyland Paris in the summer. Nice clear power level indicator and solid though I expect if dropped onto a hard surface the plastic would crack.A bit heavy for carrying round all day but saved me from a teenage meltdown when my daughters iPhone died each day mid afternoon (iPhone with poor battery you say? Never! Honest!)Overall a great buy and one I would recommend.

Bought one for my young teen daughter about 9 months ago in 2019, she wanted something to charge her phone on the move for a long time.Checked with her about the product , still working great.Just ordered one for my older daughter.Just for info: ---It's not for carry in your coat , be reasonable if its a big battery it is heavy (check info)Hope I can help

It's big and heavy. But to be fair, anything with this power will be. So consider that this may not be as portable as you'd like.Also charges extremely slowly using standard charger and cable. Definitely invest in a higher rated charging plug and cable, or you'll be there for days charging.But this is brilliant. Sturdy and well built. Tons of power, charged my phone loads over a weekend festival.Great value for money when I bought it.Highly recommended

The power pack is good news to people who want multiple outlets so that multiple devices can charge whenever needed. The output is excellent, charging quickly and easily. The only negative (hence the four stars) is its weight. Its a hefty lump if you travel abroad, you must account for it in your packing, (mine weighs about 452g, so tats around 1 pound, - you need to be aware. Still, its well worth the money, I totally recommend.
