Who would have thought that the ice tray could be improved upon? This is an amazing product! The ice pop out easily. Storing was not an issue as the cover held tight and did not have to worry about spilling when putting in the freezer.Thanks!

The four trays and covers are nested and packaged together. There is no need to flex the cube tray, so no concern for cracking/breaking the plastic. The plastic cover does not fit too tightly, so no concern for cracking/breaking the cover. The silicone is rigid enough to stack the trays and have a full ice bin stacked on top. A 4" x 4" x 12" ice bin can hold the ice from the 4 trays. A cube can be as large as 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" x 1", so not too large for a small cup. Cubes can be easily removed by running water on the silicone with the cover on and makes the cubes easily removable with little pressure. A fully-filled ice cube does require significant amount of finger pressure, but running water over the backside solves this. Overfilling is easy to determine once the cover is installed. The freezing time seems to be about the same as a fully plastic ice tray of larger size ice cubes. Highly recommend especially for the ease to removed the ice cube from the trays. Bought a second set for larger batches of ice cubes.

We have bought these ice trays a couple of times. My husband and I are obsessed with ice. We use and full glass of ice with every drink, so our refrigerator ice maker can't keep up with us. So we have a counter top icemaker and we use 18 of these ice cube trays in our freezer as well. So we love ice!! These ice cube trays work so well. They are easy to release the ice. They are durable and stack very nicely and look great in our freezer - very uniform. I don't notice any smell from them and they are very durable. They last us about a year with over use. Great product.

works great, I like the lids and the ice pops out easy. ALL of the ice, not shards or half cubes like my old plastic ones.And four ice trays is a good amount, it lasts for a few days so I'm not making ice every day. good stuff

Like a wizard.The process is simple yet exhilarating:1. Pour water in.2. Wait for the magic to happen in the freezer.3. Pop out tiny frozen blocks of joy.It’s like a science experiment, except nobody has to call the fire department.One small warning: If you fill them too full, water gets everywhere, and suddenly, you’re skating through your kitchen like an Olympic hopeful. So be careful. But other than that? 10/10, would freeze water again.

I prefer living places with an automatic icemaker, but I have had the displeasure of having to make my own cubes a few times in my life and these are the best trays I have used so far. They are better than entirely soft silicone molds for ease of use and decubing, and better than entirely stiff plastic trays at decubing. I also find filling these trays very simple holding them at an angle so the water flows down through all the slots and give me a good fill of all the cube slots quickly and easily. Coming with lids also allows for stacking with liquid water which is much appreciated to conserve space.I didn't know ice cube trays could be painless and hassle-free. It will be too soon if I ever have to use floppy silicone trays or stiff plastic trays that are hard to use again.

These ice cube trays are simply awesome! My household goes through a lot of ice. The refrigerator ice maker can’t keep up with our demand. I have been using the all plastic old school style ice cube trays in addition to it until one of the trays cracked. The cubes were always a bit of a challenge getting out and often a few of the ice cubes cracked and jumped out of the tray in pieces. I purchased this set of ice cube trays and put them to work. I like that they have lids and can be stacked. I can now make four trays of cubes in the limited space that I used to only be able to make two trays at a time. Once the cubes are frozen, they pop out so easily. A little flex and they are all loose to dump out without fighting with them. These cubes are a little smaller than my old plastic tray cubes and larger than the cubes made in my ice maker. They are a great size. Get these and you will be very happy with your purchase.

Love these ice trays. I fill them with pumpkin and boiled chicken for my dog. They work perfectly. Lids fit snugly. From the freezer, I allow the trays of pumpkin and chicken to remain on the counter for about 30 seconds. Remove lids and pop out the perfect amount for my dog. I put the cubes of food in microwave-safe bowls and nuke for a few seconds. Perfect! These trays r easy to use and are easy to clean. They are also good for chicken broth cubes which my dog loves when poured on kibble.I highly recommend these ice trays. Great value for the price.
