Rubbermaid Vegetable Brush

What can you say about a veggie brush? My only requirements were that it was easy to clean (DW) and that it could be hung (no drawers to speak of). This satisfies both requirements.I only scrub potatoes and carrots. Well, that is all I eat that requires scrubbing. Other produce is more of a hand wash thing.I have run this through DW twice in top rack. It comes out fine. My only gripe is it is a little bit pricey for what it is and that the bristles are a tad too stiff. Stiff is not bad with carrots but for getting around your odd shaped potatoes it was awkward. I am not buying another brush for potatoes so it will have to do. A little more flex and it would be perfect.

The bristles on this scrubber are very firm and great for removing dirt from potatoes and carrots. I wouldn’t recommend this for scrubbing softer fruits and vegetables because of the stiffness of the bristles. I would compare the bristle strength to that of a grout cleaning brush or one of the handheld tile scrubbers.

Love it from a practical standpoint (Stiff bristles are great for getting the dirt and particulates off my veggies & potatoes), my only complaint is the aesthetic. I will definitely buy again because it's so darned useful.

It's a scrubber for veggies and it works well.My ancient brush was worn but I could not find a sturdy and functional brush in any of the stores. Geeze, you would think a Rubbermaid product like this would be hanging in all the gadget departments...NOT! So I was happy to find this on Amazon and two days later I was able to scrub the baking potatoes.I like the wide brush surface for faster cleaning and the longer handle is comfortable.

Used it for scrubbing mussels. It did an excellent job

I would not expect to get excited over a veggie brush, but I really like this brush. For me, it is spot on. I didn't want something huge. I did want something with a handle. I didn't want a handle long enough to use as a car jack. Just a good, decent, inexpensive, not-unwieldy veggie brush. This is perfect.

This is not a gentle brush. It may be great for other things, but it tears my veggies up. Maybe it is good on other things?

There is not much I can elaborate on for a vegetable brush. It is well made, the bristles are sturdy and it is just what I needed.I can always count on Rubbermaid products to do what they are manufactured to do. Any product from Rubbermaid is always the best that money can buy. However, their products are not too expensive for the quality they give.I will always purchase Rubbermaid products before any other product. When Amazon offers something and you buy from Amazon you know you are getting the best.

Very stiff bristles. Good for potatoes.

No longer made in Canada means I no longer buy so I returned them.

Brush bristles were falling out. Surprised at the poor quality since it is a Rubbermaid product.
