While it will be easier to clean, it does make the cup holder significantly smaller. A standard size/shape water or soft drink bottle won’t fit.

They were to replace the cup holders in my son's car seat that we can't find... and yet, his sippy cups won't fit in these. So what drink will, if something the size of a can won't?

Tried these for my missing console cut inserts on my 92 Bronco. Had to trim a little bit of the edge off with a pair of diagonal cutters, then lightly sanded the trimmed area. Took about 10 minutes and they look and fit great.

I installed these on a folding card table that I bought here on Amazon. For my application, I cut a little more than half the length off the bottom, and replaced it with fiberglass mesh, which I glued, along with the top part of the insert, into the holes that I cut on the table. Now my table has cup inserts, and folds closed in half.The plastic seems adecuate, not too thin, but also not very thick.Hopefully it will last.

I have an older truck. This truck had small, shallow cup depressions in the center console. If you are driving, your drink will tip over. So I bought these inserts and drilled out the factory cup holes. These popped right in and now my drinks don’t tip over.

Great holder sturdy sadly it is too small (width) so it is not snug
