SHIMANOCS-HG81 // 10-fach Kassette (11-32 Zähne)

I'm using this cassette on a road bike, it's replacing a 'SunRace' cassette which I was never very happy with in terms of shifting smoothness. The wide 11-32 gear ratio gives a nice spread for hill climbing. The full spread of gears are as follows: 11/12/14/16/18/20/22/25/28/32Although this 10 speed 11-32 is an MTB cassette, it will fit a road bike as long as you're using a long cage rear derailleur which can cope with the larger sprockets. I'm using the Shimano 105 long cage derailleur and its perfect. Also bear in mind that if you're adding extra teeth into the gearing on your bike, you'll probably need a few extra links in your chain, which means a new chain for most.The previous SunRace cassette needed a spacer behind it on the freehub but this cassette didn't. This cassette comes in sections; the first 3 rings on one cage, the next 5 on another and then the final two sprockets and the locking ring.It fitted easily and feels very well made. It's around 310g and nice and shiny (if you care about that sort of thing).It shifts gears beautifully; a very much noticeable difference over the SunRace cassette I was using before. Quick, crisp and clean changes across the range, even cross chaining (big front cog, big rear etc).Well recommended upgrade. Can't imagine why you'd want to spend more on XT or XTR versions.

Bought this as a replacement for a worn cassette, it's spot on. What really made me happy was that it was delivered the next morning. Awesome.

First time I've replaced a cassette. The swap was easy peasy having watched a few youtube videos and with the correct tool. I upgraded to the SLX one from the Deore one that came with the bike. The swap was straightforward and the SLX one is noticeably lighter than the old Deore one. I do worry that this being the lightweight, high performance, one will not last as long.Gears swap sweetly, just as before.

I used this cassette to replace my 11-27t. I works fine and gives me the slightly lower gear ratio, the gear changes off and on the larger sprockets are a little clunky, as the be expected

Great bit of kit strong great shifting . I've used hg and sram chains on these and both are perfect . Don't need to pay any more.

Nice wide range ratios. I actually use on my winter bike with a Shimano 105 GS rear mech, 56cm frame works fine.

Good quality product but I had to return it as it was not suitable for my road bike.
