Dinosaur Train InterAction Morris Stegosaurus

The T-Rex is a meticulously modeled representation of this ferocious meat eater. The detail and texture is amazing. I wish this toy was around when I was a kid. The t-rex is well balanced having no problem standing on its 2 large feet when placed on flat surfaces. The t-rex is durably built easily taking the abuse from both my 2 1/2 year old and 1 year boys. Both my boys love playing with the t-rex and opening and closing the t-rex's mouth. I was a little worried that the movable jaw wouldn't hold up but it has. The t-rex is the perfect size. Even my 1 year old can easily pick up the dinosaur and walk around with it. The paint does come off though from wear and tear. It is most noticeable on the edges of the feet and the end of the tail.My kids also have the triceratops and stegosaurus. The t-rex is proportionately accurate in size to the triceratops and stegosaurus. The Schleich t-rex is a great looking and solidly built dinosaur. The natural history museum gift shop in the city I live has both of the Papo t-rex's. I like the modeling and coloring of the Schleich better than both of the Papo's. I highly recommend this product for any dinosaur fan.

Well, the first encounter I had with this was a weird one. I was sat in my office and randomly started laughing, put this down to a freaky one off. When my 3 year old had this for his 3rd birthday and started to play with it we couldn't help but laugh and the bizarre things it does or says including what can only be described as a weird pleasure moan. Final encounter is when my son accidentally set it to Spanish (I think) and it started yelling angrily nothing like I have ever heard on Dora. It's at the bottom of the toy box now, but I think I will donate it to a charity shop as I'm convinced it's sending secret messages to the cartel about my private life and then laughing every now and again at a funny joke (as we all know drug lords have a good sense of humour )

This dinosaur was lovely gift my little nephew was delighted , it came in a huge box , and as you know all children enjoy opening large presents.Being tough little boy it has stood the test of repeated crashing , throughing and bashing , the colour is lovely and very sturdy, the clever part is the roar when the mouth opens to show is sharp teeth, it a big thumbs up from my nephew and hence an even bigger thumbs up from me.For all you parents out there with dinosaur crazy children this is impressive and very interactive , they will be swept away in there own little Jurassic world for hours.

Another enjoyable member of the dinosaur train team, with a range of phrases, (he is a fish eater) and he interacts well with his pals. His flapping wings make him seem a bit more fragile than the other toys in this set, but he has survived a month of play with a 2year old and a 5 year old. He is smaller than the other toys in this range (apart from Buddy) but he still is a good member of the team

My niece was turning 3 and was desperate for a toy dinosaur. This was so much better than I ever could of hoped. It's amazing, well made and really educational. I would recommend getting one of the other compatable one because they are even better when they talk to each other and copy each other. But it's not vital to have another. Also it's so nice that the voices are clear and British English. Absolute bargain on here. I would of happily paid the rrp. Lastly it is on the bigger side but once out of the box it really isn't as big as some of the other reviews made it sound.

My son is dinosaur crazy, and loves these toys. The best feature is the interaction with other toys from the same range, and so you really need two or three to get the full benefit. Before Christmas I thought I'd test them, and before I knew it, they were all chatting away. The kids were in bed, and I was desperately trying to keep these dinosaurs quiet as they were challenging each other to a roaring competition! ! Great fun, and nicely made. They are also a really good size for young children of about three to six years old. In fact, Boris is huge. Great toys.

Christmas present for my 3yr old son who loves dinosaurs. Instant hit! He doesn't watch dinosaur train much but you don't need that connection to enjoy the toy. Boris is big but portable and has a great roar... Would be 5 stars if he could walk himself..haven't tried the interaction with other dinosaur toys from the series but will definitely buy some for his birthday based on quality of this one.

Santa brought Boris for our dinosaur mad son and he loves it. He also got another dinosaur from the Dinosaur Train series, so they can talk to each other. You can press the buttons for various dino facts and phrases - these sound a bit repetitive to us but out son seems to enjoy them. Pressing the tongue makes eating noises - ideal for when our son is making Boris eat his baby brother! It's also meant to make stomping noises when it walks but we can't seem to work out how to make this work. Overall, fun for a 4 year old, if a bit annoying for us to listen to ;-)
