Only Needed To Cut One Hole But Did Work Very Well
I suppose the test will be after it’s been used 10 times, but unfortunately as is probably the case for most people I’ve only needed to use it once. What I can say though is it was very efficient went through a cavity red brick wall like butter. No signs of any of the teeth breaking off. I’ve boxed it back up and it’s in my workshop. I needed to do another hole for kitchen overhead extractor fan at 150mm so I’ve bought this one as well. It seems to be good enough quality and it isn’t too badly priced though don’t forget the sds adapter and be sure to church your drill has a clutch because it does grip on the way through

152mm requires powerful SDS drill
I purchased the 152mm to ensure there was plenty of space for adjustment and slight fall on the soil pipe. This was a great size as there was plenty of space for the 92.5° Double Socket Branch. I would recommend having a powerful mains SDS drill (mine was 1500w), no hammer used I think that would damage the teeth. The dimond core performance was great and cut through the brick relatively easily. It left a clean hole and the cores were easy to get out. I also purchased the 13mm x 200mm Starrett guild bit and arbor. I would purchase other sizes in the range if required. Recommended.

Good quality and cuts well
Bought it for vented extractor pipes. Only done one with it so far, through double skin Fletton bricks. Sailed through so quite happy

Great value and works well
Needed to put 2 vents through a 9 inch concrete wall. This did the job perfectly. Looks like it would do a few more easily. Don't know how it would hold up if you were using it every day. But it did what I needed it to do watch out for some of the arbours that Amazon recommends with it. Some arbours aren't straight and cause a wobble that will both make the job harder if not impossible and make your wrists ache. . If it doesn't spin without wobble on the drill you're going to have serious issues

So far so good
I have used this 117mm core for over a month on over 30 vent holes so far with a dewalt core drill in brick, hollow block and solid walls. It even drilled through a fishtail tie(a strip of galvanised steel between brick walls for those who don't know)when I was coring through brick with no problem or damage to the teeth. The diamond teeth still look like new. Will see how it does in harder materials. Sure it's not a marcrist but it's great value at 1/3 of the price. If you don't already have an Arbor and guide drill you'll have to buy them separately. If you're going to buy this for DIY, please use a proper diamond core drill. If you want to use an sds then please make sure it has a good safety clutch, a lot of the cheaper drills don't. If the core jams in the wall then a drill with no safety clutch will more than likely break your wrists, throw you off a ladder or worse.

Worked well
Well made, light for its sizeCuts through 6" blocks with a cavity space, no problem...just use a long enough pilot bit. Can use with hammer, but after initial pilot hole...no hammer works faster.

Cut with ease.
Perfect for cutting out soil pipe holes in brick or block when you need extra play for either a socketed section, adjustment or pipe snug/decent mortar joint. Cut through brick and block with ease. Can’t comment on longevity yet!

Exactly what I ordered
I planned to core out a hole for a flue. Fortunately, the replacement boiler also had an off centre flue so I didn’t need the drill. It did arrive on time and quality looks good. . 🤞🏿
