Up To 2.2mm（3/64 1/16 5/64 Inch） Teflon Coating Anti-Rust and Anti-Corrosion Wire Rope Crimper Fishing Crimping Tool

Easy to use and I am 68 with small hands.

I’m using steel cable to hang some of my sculptural work. These tools cut the wire and make a strong crimp. I suggest that you do the crimping in bright light so that you can see what you’re doing. I had one fail (my fault, not the tool’s) but I caught the piece as it fell. Redid the crimp in bright light.

I gave this product a four star rating because it is reasonably priced but after a month I am starting to see the jaws are getting pitted from cutting 1/8” stainless steel cables.I have a feeling I will end up having to research and find another pair within the next six months.I would recommend mend these pliers for the reasonable price and if they have low use, they will probably last quite a while.

Worked perfect and I would reorder

Tool came quickly and was a good price. Cutter worked great for about 10 cuts, then began to just pinch the rope. Contacted the seller who was great and refunded the entire cost of the tool and did not want it back.

Good crimpers for a reasonable price.

I bought crimps and picture hanging wire to make a professional looking hanging for my paintings for sale. Some of the crimps worked fine with regular pliers, but most of them were too thick and heavy for me to close. I bought these thinking that they'd allow me to close the heavier crimps. Nope. Those crimps still won't close. I just may not have enough grip strength to do it, but frankly these specialized pliers didn't work any better than my regular $2 Harbor Freight variety. I'm going to select crimps more carefully in the future. I would have given it four stars but I had a problem using them. There's a lock which locks the pliers shut for storage. Seems like a good idea, except that the lock slides freely when you are using the pliers and down is locked. So they kept locking when I closed them over a crimp and I had a devil's time getting them unlocked because the crimp kept me from tightening them enough to loosen the lock. I ended up having to duct tape the lock open to use the pliers.

The quality of this wire rope crimping tool set seems good. What I didn't realize when I ordered it is that it is for very small cable only. I wanted it for somewhat bigger cable but it's my fault for not reading carefully and doesn't reflect on the quality of this product. The crimpers and cutter are good quality. The crimper has a locking slide button to save space when not in use and the cutter has a slip over loop to keep the handles closed for savety. There are several sizes of aluminum crimping sleeves included. This is a great product for hanging items such as pictures or light fixtures. I believe the crimpers will also work on some of my electrical connectors and I will probably use them more for that than for cables.

The wire cutters did a great job. I didn't realize the crimper were for such small crimps. I wanted the unit for 1/16" wire. Unfortunately my wire is vinyl coated and the size crimps required because of the vinyl is too big for the tool. It's my fault I didn't read the specs on the crimper properly. But the tools is vell made!

Tool is terrible. Perfume smells like urine. Amazon is censoring real reviews again so one star for everything I buy now. Amazon has become a joke.

I initially thought the grip was just loose because when I squeeze them, it would slip in my hands, but after a closer look, there is a long crack in the grip and it came right out of the box like that.The actual tip of the crimpers don’t lineup evenly but they still technically do the job.
